Great appetizers! Mussels, late, yummy! Bread is wonderful - easy to eat too much of it! Good steak frites with choices of sauces. Fresh tasty salads. Brunch is recommended for groups with diverse tastes... something for everyone. My last visit was with a small group of friends, I had the prime steak sandwich - terrific! Others had quiche, crepes, trout,... More
The wine selection is plentiful, the food offerings are delicious and the Happy Hour deal is great. In the Middle of Bethesda Row, Mon Ami Gabi is a great place to meet friends for dinner or just to relax with a few drinks.
We had a wonderful lunch in this lovely bistro reminiscent of Paris. This was not our first visit but it had been a while. Pleasant dining room and nice menu. Excellent baguette, nice cote de Rhone. Good service. Easy to have a conversation. We enjoyed the seafood crepe and the salmon salad with spinach, kale, blueberries and walnuts. Delicious!! Well... More
Gift cards took us to Mon Ami Gabi. Entres were recommended, service by staff & server Gregory was superb - efficient, anticipatory, courteous and knowledgeable. Not rushed not intrusive to a couple having a conversation. Atmosphere pleasant, squeeky clean. Very professional. First timers but will be repeat customers when in town. Well done Monday Ami Gabi!
We shared the escargot and mussels for appetizers. Perfectly cooked, great taste. The classic steak frites, medium, was well seasoned, perfectly cooked, and delicious. My wife had her favorite salmon, and as usual, was cook perfectly and delicious. Dessert was creme brûlée, delicious! A bit pricey for a typical daily French/ Belgium "pub" type food. Parking garage around the corner... More

Even without reservation, we were able to sit next to the bar section. 4 of us had steak and frites and one French onion soup with frites. We were all satisfied with our food. As for wine we had the red Beaujolais. Highly recommend this place if you are in town and wanting some French food.
It's a French-American restaurant. Food is very tasty, different, plentiful. The service was neither rushed nor need to be prodded. Some expected delay on Friday evening though. The drinks service was rather prompt and pleasant. I got a cocktail, recommended by the attendant, which was really good. (My usual drink is Scotch). Price mid range.
