Improved version of the take out place they had up the road. My cousin, a local guided us toward that place. I like the private booths with high partitions--I am not a fan of noisy places. We were able to talk quietly. It was a little chilly. Food was traditional Maine seafood. We had clam strips and haddock--nicely fried and... More

My wife and I stopped here on St. Patrick's day with a fish dinner in mind, but when the waitress said they were offering a corned beef and cabbage dinner special we went for it. We're glad we did. It was delicious. Our waitress was friendly and efficient and the owner stopped by our table for a nice chat. What... More

The spaghetti with garlic bread was very good, a fellow eater and I shared it for lunch. The menu offered everything from seafood to Italian to everything in between.

A real "breath of fresh air". Not a white linen table cloth ...fine-dining restaurant but a great place to casually stop by & have fun, great food, & great atmosphere. Also...has an excellent fish market off to the side if you want to cook at home. Nice combination. Clean as can be & a busy parking lot tells you it... More

The Haddock Reuben was tasty. The hamburger and chicken fingers were typical fare. The crab cakes were not very good - lots of filler and very little crab. Everyone's french fries were cold. Service was friendly, but a little slow and we had to track down the waitress for drink refills and to get our check. It wasn't a bad... More

First time here and was impressed. We got a Seafood platter that was so huge that we split it and still left at least 1/4 of it. Got a cup of Clam chowder and they give you warm rolls. loved everything except the small cup of coleslaw. Other than that everything was excellent as was our waitress.

My wife and I were looking for fresh fish and hot chowder on a gray dismal December Sunday and we were told by a local to try Fishermans Dock. We were pleasantly surprised. The Clam Chowder was excellent-lots of clams!!. The Caesar Salad was fresh, crisp, chilled and delicious. We both had Haddock Sandwiches with fries and chips and the... More

We 'dined' at the "Dock" in August - and I use the word 'dined' loosely. We could not finish most of our food. The clam chowder was inedible -- it contained too much lemon flavor. The baked potato was shriveled and discolored inside. The cole slaw was flavorless. While the corn on the cob was very good we were given... More

Stopped for lunch today and we were disappointed with both our meals. I ordered the fish stew which came in a bowl and unfortunately the smell was not pleasant. It was so complicated to eat. It was a stew but much of the fish could not be eaten with a spoon because the tail was still on the shrimp or... More

I ordered the small fried haddock plate the fish was fresh and flaky, just perfect. The fries were wonderfully light. The portions were certainly adequate for lunch. Nothing was greasy. The waitress was friendly and helpful. My wife ordered the smaller Lobster roll it was packed with lobster meat and she was very happy with it. I couldn't resist the... More
