Good soups and sandwiches. Limited seating area. Counter service, homemade items, a la carte. Nice stop for lunch by oneself.

We popped in to check out the bread and were not disappointed. We settled on a loaf of wheat cranberry bread with olive oil--yum! We also bought a brownie (delicious) and a blueberry muffin (also very good). Looks like a nice place for a simple bite to eat. It is a local place which is nice too.

Locals already know about this bakery. I have gone there every morning while on vacation for the past several decades for my daily caffeine/carbohydrate satisfaction. Counter personnel are friendly, informative and adorable, really. Go here when you are vacationing or not in the Wells ME area. I like breads that are tasty and, you might understand, fight back: crusty, chewing... More

We ordered the soup and sandwich combo...sandwich was full of crisp, fresh veggies, rare and tender roast beef...simply delectable. Choice of several breads, decent prices. The soup was oily, little beef flavor, and for that matter, not much beef in it. It didn't sit terribly well for either my wife or myself (split the 12 ounce cup.) That said, one... More

The bread is excellent. The rosemary olive oil is my favorite. If you decide to go for lunch and order a sandwich be prepared to wait. I consistently wait in line for long periods of time. The bread is great as I say but, you will pay for it!

I've been to many steakhouse around the country. Never had to wait over an hour as I did here. Was excited thinking if the wait is this long it has to be great. I was sadly disappointed. It was average at best. I won't be back

My wife and I went to get muffins for breakfast, we bought one blueberry muffin and one blueberry scone. The staff were great in answer questions about the difference between a muffin and a scone. Scones were good but we both agreed we preferred the moisture of the blueberry muffin, which the staff told us the difference between the two... More
