Yes, they were friendly and with great service offered, but my wife and I were still hungry $60 later... I have to admit that the food quality was good, but there is no way my budget can afford to eat here... So much for those...much cherished and yummy leftovers; there is none:-(More

Sadly, I have to second exactly what someone wrote about this place several months ago--the size of the portions here was not remotely worth the hour-long wait it took me to actually get my dinner (ordered at 5, ready at 6) when I was really...hungry. Was the food good? Eh, it made no impression on me. Just didn't seem worth it, all in all. Sorry.More

Food was ok portions were very small. Ordered the pad Thai with chicken. Got half of what a normal take out should be. Not worth the money charged.

My experience has always been pristine!! I started going to Pad Thai when it was on College Avenue. The owners are awesome, the location is very good, just off of I-95 exit and the prices are comparable. Totally love Pad Thai Too!

Love this place. Food is out of this world. Always comes out hot. Portions are more than I can eat in one meal so for me, I get to enjoy some great left overs the next day. Staff are all great. Pleasant, polite and super...helpful. Their meals are super tasty and full of flavor. Highly recommend this place.More

The food was very fresh and really flavorful. The portions were huge (Colby Sized) and it was very economical. We will go here again when coming back to Waterville.

Ok I might be a little biased on what to expect in Waterville Maine. I have had Thai all over the world (London, NY, Chicago, LA, Syndey) and this ranked right up there. Yes surprising... It is cooked fresh to order with an fun 'heat...index'. The freshness of the cook to order means you have to wait a little bit for your meal so dont expect this to be a quick in and out experience. Order apps, enjoy a drink and conversation in anticipation of a great meal. Or order to go and enjoy at home. Either way what a gem.More

We came to Pad Thai Too because we wanted something reliable and yummy on the weekend. We also brought a notoriously picky eater. Trip did not disappoint- food was wonderful! Calm and quiet inside and we had a great dinner, shared a few dishes, and...satisfied all tastes at the table. Another great visit.More

I ate at Pad Thai too twice during a short stay in Waterville. Tasty and fresh Thai food. Had very fresh and tasty fresh rolls, pad thai with grilled tofu and a nice portion of green curry with rice, topped off with a Singha. We...were going back a third time, but the place was totally filled on a Thursday night.More

Pad Thai Too has always been a favorite restaurant of ours. The food is incredibly fresh, cooked to order and absolutely delicious. Ordering for take out can be tricky with long wait times, but I've always been seated immediately for dining in. They also have...a decent drink menu as well.More

First time here on our way home from Portland. Go Mariners! Figured we would give it a try for something new. The service was great. No issues there. The business is clean and tastefully decorated inside. Seems to do a good business. The food was very...good and we were both happy. The portion size could have been a bit larger but now I'm just nit-picking. I also like the wider noodles as opposed to the thin ones, once again really having to look hard for anything to tell you about. Enjoy yourselves here!More

I had eaten here and taken out. The dishes were uniformly good. I am not expert on authentic Thai food but I was never disappointed. .I mostly ate the curries of which there are several. I also had a noodle dish. Excellent. The spring rolls...were delicate and fresh. The edamame were nicely dressed. I am partial to hot and spic and spiciness is graded in degree of hotness. I can't speak for all the dishes I haven't tried everything.. yet,. but what I did have was outstanding. I will definitely eat here again. Staff was also friendly. Nice ambience too.More

Service was super-slow--it took us an hour to get our food from the time we arrived at the restaurant. They make everything to order, which is probably why. I recommend the traditional pad thai.

I am utterly disappointed. I have waited at least a year to post this review, thinking I would wait while the restaurant seemed to be in the midst of change. Pad Thai Too, on the KMD in Waterville, Maine, is not what it once was. It's worse. I have been a regular customer of Pad Thai Too for 18 years. And I think I am done. I gave it about 18 months to see if it would change. I know all restaurants need to modernize and keep decor updated. But I abhor the minimalist black and white decor they put in place last year. I wrinkled my nose every time I walked in, but at least the food and the timing and delivery seemed on par. Tonight, 2/17/18 - the rest was destroyed. We ordered for pickup, like I have literally done 50 times before. I called in at 4:38pm. The restaurant OPENS at 4pm. I was told 45 minutes. Ok, no problem. Busy night. I had to wait 20 minutes more for my order after I arrived 45 minutes later. While I was waiting, there were a total of 9 tables in the restaurant. 9. Tables. I did a quick count. 27 people seated. 2 families waiting to be seated. The first family was told 15 minutes. The second family was told 30. The third family was told 45. 45 minutes for Waterville, Maine at 5:35pm? Are you kidding me? GET MORE TABLES! There was a nice, fake-fern edged seating area for 10 people, probably for pick-up orders? I looked at the space. They could tuck another 4-5 tables in that space and have NO WAITING SEATING. What is this? A deliberate effort to look exclusive? We’re not in downtown Manhattan. We’re in Waterville, Maine. 8 years ago I could get takeout for me and my boys for $42. Tonight's tab? $78 Really? Paying for all that exclusivity. We finally got home and unpacked food. My son had to DRAIN his take out to get rid of all the water and oil sitting at the bottom of his food. It was disgusting. We have NEVER seen food like this from pad Thai Too. In addition - in 16 years’ worth of ordering, his Pad Thai never came filled with mushrooms and peppers. He hates both. Must be a change of chef. I had to drain my Drunken noodle. Never in 18 years have I ever had to do this. It was SWIMMING in oil and sauce. I am sorry Pad Thai Too. I have been a customer of yours for a long time, and I am going to say good bye. The changes you have made are crap. Your new cook leaves less to be desired, and you can keep your nearly 100% inflation in prices and your lackluster, drab, depressing BLACK and white decor and 9 tables. I have no idea what marketing guru is leading you in your decisions, but they suck. You just lost a nearly 2-decades old customer. I am beyond upset. The owners are making horrible decisions. Fix it.
