Delicious lobster right before you get to the island home to Acadia National Park. We were looking for an authentic lobster shack that many locals like and recommend, and came to this one. Compared to prices in other states, this lobster was inexpensive, but by...More

We happened upon this place after riding by several times. you choose the lobster and it is cooked over a wooden fire. EXCELLENT. We got two lobster dinners for $50 with a beer a piece. There are not enough words to say about the food....More

We stopped here as a result of reading the TA reviews. The steamers were cooked well, the lobster sandwich( not a roll) consisted of thick bread and not enough lobster. The lobster stew had a layer of melted butter on top. The prices were more...More

This was the first lobster place we went to recommended by a local. After we ordered there was a break with no one behind us and we had a great conversation with the owners whose generations of family were also there and working. The meal...More

When my family was growing up we would take them to this lobster pound because of the reasonable prices, and location. Also for the must do experience of picking out your lobster then sitting at a screened in picnic table while it's prepared. My husband...More

Everything a la carte....seems odd for a lobster pound where you usually get a complete meal for the price. Lobsters good not great. Everyone recommends this place but so over priced for what you get.

Wow, $13.95 per delicious fresh pound. You choose your own lobster and they boil it outside in vats of boiling sea water. Casual dining in screened in porch with picnic tables. Busy place. Took about 30+ minutes to get to our order. Lots of other...More

I have purchased lobster three times from the Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound for travel. I have shipped to Florida and Pennsylvania, and both times the recipients were thrilled with the (cooked) lobster. During the off-season, the restaurant is not open, but you can purchase live...More

I have been visiting this rustic eatery for decades. The food is super- fresh and delicious all of the time. I always have steamers and lobster, but there is something for everyone. The lobsters are cooked right there in front of you in seawater for...More

Stopped at the Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound to buy steamers. They had plenty of them and at a great price. The Worker weighed out the amount I wanted and then washed them all down and picked out any that were cracked or broken. Great service!!

We will be visiting in late September. Looking forward to some lobster! Wondering if you could give me a approximate price on your boiled lobster, lobster stew, lobster sandwich and crab sandwich. Thank you. Looking forward to seeing you in the fall.

Just so you know, bigger isn't always better. The 1-1/4 to 1 1/2 cooks in much less time and because of that, is much tender and sweeter.
