Excellent atmosphere! My wife and I ordered our meals from the bar. We had fried haddock fillets prepared over a mushroom gravy. It was perfect. We can’t wait to go back. This place is very popular. Reservations recommended.

We LOVED this restaurant. A local told us it was the best in town, and he was right. We were able to sit right down, but when we left there were quite a few parties waiting. Someone asked us if the wait was worth it-...we told them hand down absolutely. The regular menu was great, and they also had a few specials. Chicken Parmesan was delicious. The ribeye special was amazing. But then we had the blueberry crisp…out of this world! Tons of dessert options but that one is hard to beat.More

This was a horrible experience and we didn’t even step foot on the patio. We stood outside waiting to be seated for more than 30 minutes. A server asked us how many and if we wanted inside or outside. However, she was hosting, serving, and...bussing, so she disappeared to clean a table and never came back. Then a different server finally came up to seat us more than 30 minutes later. We had already made the decision to eat somewhere else, so we let him know we were leaving. He said “Good” and greeted the man behind us with a “Long time, no see” and seated him immediately. The servers are rude and it is not a friendly environment. Doesn’t even deserve one star. I should’ve asked to speak with a manager, but I let it go.More

We had an enjoyable dinner here. Excellent scallops and crab cakes. Disappointing lobster ravioli. Three out of four meals were winners. The waitress made a nice substitute choice of wine when our selection wasn't available. Prices were reasonable. Hours of operation later than most which...worked for us after being in Acadia Park all day. We would return.More

This place charges mandatory 18% gratutiy on food you cannot even eat. This is overhyped and worst experience, clam chowder was like water and tomato soup was pathetic and so was their cold chicken. When asked we were told this is how its made. Never...coming back here ever and advise people to save their money and eat somewhere else...More

We had a breakfast here and a dinner here and both were fabulous! The servers for both our meals (Ivan at breakfast and Rob at dinner) were attentive and friendly.

We order food to go. It included a lobster roll ($40!) that was small, stingy and average. The Pasta Bolognese was tasty but also over priced. The place charges too much for a mediocre dinner, taking advantage of the busy tourist season, Look for alternatives...if you can,More

We stopped by after kayaking. Wait was only about 15 min. Food was delicious and waitstaff was very attentive. Four adult meals was about $150 with no alcoholic drinks.

It was nice to get out of Bar Harbor and have a satisfying meal in an eclectic garden setting. The menu is extensive (with 5 soups today) with plenty of choices for vegetarians. Had the garden salad with curry chicken salad on it. Quite tasty...and a substantial size for a reasonable price. Friendly service. Would come back for more if I lived near here.More

Stopped here for lunch. First, the menu is extensive and wonderful. What do you eat for lunch? The menu has it. Long lists of salads, panini, pita sandwiches, etc. They also had about 6 soups on the specials menu. Sat outside, but noticed that they...were cutting flowers inside for vases for the tables for dinner. Place seems big on small touches. Extensive bar menu with specialty cocktails. I had lobster tacos, the special. 2 soft tortillas with A LOT of lobster. A lot. Roasted corn in the tacos. Kettle chips on the side (wish I’d asked about a substitute). Companion had a hummus pita, loaded with fresh veggies as well. The small garden salad had a wider assortment of veggies than I’ve ever seen in a salad, including edamame. Just go and enjoy. PS…..the breakfast menu looks amazing. PPS….they have blueberry bread pudding on the dessert menu.More

We had an excellent server named Laxmi who was very helpful throughout our meal. We sat outside for breakfast on a weekday at 9 AM. There were so many great choices and she gave us recommendations that helped everyone be happy with their order. The...blueberry french toast was excellent, and the fresh squeezed orange juice so good. We had hoped to get back in the evening to try their amazing sounding desserts and dinner menu, but never had that opportunity.More
