Beal's was quite the experience. The seafood is very fresh. It goes right from the lobster boats on the pier to your table......literally. The lobster rolls we had were the best in the Bar Harbor area. Pricing was a little steep but the quality was...More

We stopped in here for lunch. Many choices in a variety of price ranges. The crab roll was average with not much flavor while the salmon sandwich with lettuce, tomato, bacon and avocado was pretty good. 35 bucks for lunch with no beer seemed a...More

One of the best lobster rolls yet! Warm fresh lobster in a wonderfully toasted butter bun (AKA traditional). So nice to see a lobster pound offer a choice of the traditional and the the "other" lobster rolls. Really surprised to see a very good wine...More

My friend, who is a year-round resident, insisted that Beal's has most delicious, ample lobster rolls. Now that we've been there, I'm a believer! I ordered the Traditional (Lobster in melted butter piled high). She had the crab roll, which was also simplistic and pile...More

As I recall the menu is the same all day. Lobsters are by the pound. Prices on other items run from about $10.00. Specials are on the board on the right as you walk in.

Description
Eat, drink and be messy. A visit to Beal's Lobster Pier is always a highlight - a restaurant that's on the water, with an atmosphere that's down to earth. At our working lobster pier in Southwest Harbor, Maine, you and your family will have a blast watching the boasts coming in and the lobstermen unloading their fresh catch. Hear the creak of rope on the moorings. Catch the scent of saltwater on the breeze and enjoy the waterfront view while chowing down on the freshest lobster you can eat. (Don't worry, the napkins are on us!)
