Perhaps too easy to order on line, we just finished four 2-pounders delivered perfectly (with bibs!) and if one closed one's eyes, it was as delicious as if we were in SWH mid-day. It sounds silly but Beals' lobsters every single time I've picked them...More

I yearly visit Southwest Harbor ME and eat at Beals Lobster Pier several times each stay. I always get the lobster Roll and it is juicy, full of lobster meat and can be ordered with melted butter or with mayo. The corn on the Cobb...More

This place had by far the best lobster rolls in Maine! It's located on the pier in Southwest Harbor and it wasn't exactly busy since we went during the off-season but they were open! And they only offered their classic rolls but who cares right?...More

Lobster at its best fresh from the sea. Eat outdoors and watch the lobster boats unload while you enjoy your meal.

Beal's is 10 minutes outside of downtown Bar Harbor. Since we were in town with a cruise ship, the downtown was overrun with tourists. By getting a little out of town we were able to avoid the crowds & get a quality meal where the...More

I'm not a lobster lover- but the haddock burger was like getting a 3 piece fish and chip serving! The potato chips are excellent as well as the blueberry lemonade!

Lobster. Ignore everything else and buy lobster only. Yes - you can get great mussels and some “lobster roll” but don’t! For very ( very!) reasonable price you pick hour ( live of course) lobster. They will make it perfectly for you! Don’t use fork...More

As I recall the menu is the same all day. Lobsters are by the pound. Prices on other items run from about $10.00. Specials are on the board on the right as you walk in.

Description
Eat, drink and be messy. A visit to Beal's Lobster Pier is always a highlight - a restaurant that's on the water, with an atmosphere that's down to earth. At our working lobster pier in Southwest Harbor, Maine, you and your family will have a blast watching the boasts coming in and the lobstermen unloading their fresh catch. Hear the creak of rope on the moorings. Catch the scent of saltwater on the breeze and enjoy the waterfront view while chowing down on the freshest lobster you can eat. (Don't worry, the napkins are on us!)
