Great view and decent food with friendly service. Glad recommend it to all. One note... my wife had a hard time finding something on the menu that didn't have a little peppery or spicy.

Got there a little early, they don't open for dinner until 5:00 pm. Wait staff was very friendly, service was quick, views are wonderful, food was pretty good too. Option are a little limited, but everything we had was good.

Sitting on the deck over the cove is a treat - and the seafood is excellent. Worth the trip to South Bristol.

I love to find places that are not right in the heart of the touristy area and this is it. To get the Wonderful view make sure you make reservations! I had the haddock special and it was wonderful! So fresh and delicious! Friendly staff!

Coveside's location alone is a reason to dine there. By land or by sea, folks come from all around for the dockside views. Good for bringing Fido along, too. Foodwise, it seems we have had better at the Coveside in the past. The fried Haddock...More

The Coveside was located near the cottage we rented and was recommended by the owners of the cottage. We went for a family meal and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had spent the day paddle boarding and kayaking so arrived to the restaurant hungry. For appetizer,...More

The food was average. Service was great and prices were reasonable. The view from the outside deck is amazing!! There's not much else around the area, but it was worth the drive for the photos!!!

Beautifully located on a small bay with tied up boats floating in the harbour, the restaurant has a lot to offer, not the least a nice outside terrace on which to enjoy the view. Nice selection of beers though wine list is very limited. Food...More

Hi! Kayaked to Coveside from East Boothbay last Labor Day, and had an amazing time. Great food, great people. I plan on returning this upcoming Labor Day but... I'll be with a larger group, and we won't all have kayaks. What's the best way to get from East Boothbay or Boothbay Harbor to Christmas Cove? Are there any ferries or charter opportunities? The 45 minute drive does not seem ideal, because those dark n' stormies sure are delicious... Would love your input! Best, Max
