Just your every day decent priced small town cafe. Nothing special except small town vibe and real old school waitresses. Love going there to just relax and unwind and be simple again.

We just had to go back here. Last year was awesome and again this year. Seafood platter with plenty to take home. I had the prime rib. Delicious. We looked so forward to returning and will again next year.

The docent at the nearby Owl Head Lighthouse recommended the Rockland Cafe as a “comfy mom & pop cafe” right in town, with great food and friendly staff and informal atmosphere. We missed the lunch rush, arriving about 2:00 PM on a Monday afternoon. We...More

The Rockland Cafe was recommended to us by our local host. The menu offerings were varied and so tempting it was difficult to choose our orders. The seafood chowder was fantastic, filled with lobster, scallops and shrimp. It will forever be our gold standard. The...More

This restaurant was highly rated and recommended. I can only speak for dinner and not other meals. If you like fried foods and lots of it and rude waitresses, then this is the place for you. I ordered broiled fish, scallops, and shrimp for 23.00...More

This is a really quaint cafe, and the service was very good. Also, we liked the comfortable atmosphere. That being said, we both ordered the Seafood Chowder, which was supposed to be the best we've ever had, according to the menu. It was supposed to...More
