My wife and I were told we had to make sure and get to Primos. It was very good. We split the carpaccio and oysters as appetizers and weren’t disappointed. She had the pork cannelloni and I ordered the halibut both were very good but...More

This is one of the best restaurants in America. My wife and I blend fine dining with our travel. We live in Northern CA and have frequented plenty of five-star restaurants in San Francisco and the greater Bay Area. Since 2010 we have managed to...More

This was recommended by the B.B. we stayed at. They made the recommendation. It was very good. Very gourmet. Not on the water. Saying this only because the couple we were with had “expectations” we would be looking out on the water and a lobster...More

Beautiful grounds and gardens. Interesting concept, but the food and service were lacking. Given the high price point (especially for Maine), much more was expected in terms of service and all around experience.

A long wait in a very long line. The dinner was worth the wait. It was the last night of the summer for oysters which was part of the reason for the crowd. We weren't disappointed in our meal. The oysters were succulent! Whatever you...More

Our first visit 5 years ago was underwhelming in every way. When we decided to visit the coast of ME this summer we made a reservation to try Primo once again. We had a great table near a window and could watch the diners arriving...More
