I came here for a good meal as it was recommended by friends. Our waitress did not come to our table for at least 20 min to take a drink order. It was not that busy inside to be neglected. She never came back to...More

This place seems a classic Diners, Drive-ins, Dive kind of place. Large menu for small house, so we went with seafood assuming it would come from local dock. Food was great. I had mussels & sausage in marinara over pasta. Everything was correct for a...More

Stopped at Cafe Miranda on our way to Camden, Maine. Funky small place with a big eclectic menu. I had a grilled Caprese sandwich with side salad. Excellent and huge. I took more than half the sandwich with me. My husband had homemade soup that...More

This spot it pretty dang amazing! I was shocked at how large the menu was given how small the place is. There was so much to choose from and luckily I had help (a friend who had been there a number of times). I settled...More

This was a great find. They have a very large menu for such a small restaurant. We had the lobster tacos to start. Just great flavor here. Then has the mussels with sausage and pasta for a main. Everything was very tasty. Did not have...More

Had reservations (necessary since it seats about 25 inside & it was too cold to go outside) and was seated on time. There was a large bachelorette party seated in the middle of the room and they were loud. With it being so small, it's...More

WOW, what a spectacular restaurant! Not knowing that we needed a reservation, as it's limited seating, we walked in on a Saturday night at 5:30ish and we were fortunate to sit at the bar (4 seats available) and got to watch the chefs cook and...More

Very large menu, great food, good service. I had the polenta with mushrooms which was cooked and served in a cast iron pan. The house made bread was plentiful, crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside. The owner introduced himself to us the next...More

We typically like to try lots of different restaurants but our meal on Tuesday was so good and the place so funky that we came back the next night. We are "almost" vegetarians, but do fish from time to time. The Genteel Haddock was one...More

This is a wonderfully creative restaurant with fascinating menu options. I need a gluten free diet and they waitstaff and kitchen crew seem well-informed and happy to help one navigate the menu. There is one major problem we have had everytime we have been there...More

NO, there is not a fireplace inside, but outside during cool evenings they have a gas fireplace. We were there recently and the outside was closed.

Kerry, the owner, is from Shenandoah, Pennsylvania. Shenandoah is often called the Polish Poconos and is the home of "Mrs. T's" pierogies and a yearly "kielbasa" fest. I'm certain you can get Pierogies, if you call ahead!
