We had a lovely meal out with interesting dishes. The service was wonderful in a beautiful atmosphere. Even though we were not staying in the hotel, the manager helped us with places to visit in the area.

Hubby and I just returned from Maine and only had two nights at Loon Lodge but wish we'd had more. Our room was cozy and comfortable. We stayed in the Christie room which was right over the Pickford Pub. The first night they were a...little noisy til 10:30p but when asked to calm down they did and it was quiet after that. Management addressed the issue right away and the second night no issues. The views on the lake are spectacular and the Inn is all you would expect from an old original log cabin but with updates. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Reservations are a must for the dining room and I can see why. The food is 5 star excellent in our opinion. You must have the bruschetta appetizer. It is to die for. All the food was excellent with the flavor, quality and amount. You will not walk away hungry. The chocolate cayenne creme brulee is the perfect completion. It's rich but not overly sweet with just a hint of spice at the end of each bite. The Chef Brian is a master. We look forward to coming back soon!!More

The restaurant at loon lodge is one of my fav places in Rangeley. great views, nice camp atmosphere inside, short staffed means you can wait, but the staff are good and trying hard. I recommend arriving by boat and docking on the water. My bf...declares the burger best in Maine.More

We agree with your boy friend on the burger- they are amazing! The only thing better than the food is the amazing views of the lakes and mountain around us! We look forward to seeing you both again this summer- thank you

Best place ever. Loon lodge was disappointing. Overbooked so dinner was slow and not much service at all. Our cottage was excellent. Can t beat the views. Booked for August. Excited to go back

Perfectly maintained and loved Inn and it was a pure delight to be a guest! Beautiful inside and out! Try to get some time out on the dock for sunrise or sunset! Well worth the cost! My husband left his toiletries bag and we got...a prompt call and text message to alert us and we were able to retrieve it before leaving town. Would definitely stay again.More

We came to Loon Lodge for dinner on Good Friday 2021. Loon Lodge is a quintessential Maine Lake Lodge. Generations of people have been introduced to fine dining here. I used to live about 1/2 a mile away from Loon Lodge but had not been...here for decades. The current management is holding to the high standards of yesteryear although the food is even better. The building is a classic log lodge and the staff at the restaurant is extremely nice. We had a fabulous meal in a great setting with a wonderful waitress. The appetizers were delicious and artfully presented. Both the crab stuffed mushrooms and the fried brussel sprouts had a lemon aioli and were both excellent. Enteés were all great, ribeye with mashed potatoes and brocolini, a fabulous burger, and french onion soup. All three of us thought the food was delicious and well presented. And for desert...? (as my cousin Wilbur used to ask when grilling us about our dining adventures) We shared a lemon cake with lemon curd and coconut. It was fabulous. Once you have been here you will want to bring your best friends.More

Beautiful lodge and food was tasty. A very cozy lodge and great hospitality. My only criticism was a group of snowmobilers that hung out with out their masks most of the time in the morning lounging in great room with the fireplace like they owned...it. Didn’t those white males know Trump was fired and every body wears masks now!More

Had the salmon...and costini spread to start, seafood chower was excellent as was my Caesar salad. Spouse order chicken breast which was 1/2 chicken, very good. I ordered the pasta dish,?papardelle but it was very bland, sent it back, should have had the salmon!! Chocolate mousse and pumpkin cheesecake were outstanding!More

Great ambiance overlooking the water. Service was outstanding. Beet salad was fresh and delicious. Both of us had the Prime Rib special which was so good. Huge portions. Very fresh sides. Loved their mashed potatoes. Wish we could have stayed there in the lodge. Their...pub was nice as well. Would highly recommend. So much better than the restaurants we tried right in town.More

Our dinner here was our "special" night out in Rangely. It's what you expect from an upscale, warm Maine lodge. Delicous food & drinks, lovely atmosphere and hospitality. Overlooking the lake you bask in the beauty of the area. Peaceful, serene. Take a walk down...to the lake after dinner and listen to the loons.More

We wanted to get away from our usual haunts on the coast and opted to stay at the Loon Lodge Inn and had a super time. The Lodge sits right on Rangeley Lake and is a popular spot for locals to come and have drinks...and something to eat coing directly from the dock, a plesant amenity. The food is excellent. On our first night I opted for a pair of small plates; the Yellow Fin Tuna and a mixed green salad with fresh corn and Cotija cheese (the ceasar is also good). We enjoyed the clam chowder on another night and especially the rib eye steak on our fiftieth. Loon has an excellent wine list and great desserts. If people want to take advantage of the Wednesday 4 fo 5 til 6 arrive early! The people at Loon work very hard to give their guests an enjoyable and pleasant stay.!More
