First I would like to say Thank You to all of the Start City faithful and fans. We are not out of business as some have believed, but temporarily closed and looking for another location here in Presque Isle. We were leaving the space which...More
This was a nice local gathering place for coffee and lunches. Unfortunately, it has closed. The space is available for a new business venture. My friends and I met every week for coffee and sweets. We also held casual committee meetings for various organizations.
This wonderful cafe/coffee shop has great ambiance, friendly staff, with excellent food and deep rich coffee. Everything is made fresh, including soups and baked goods. Plenty of parking in the city lot around the corner. I highly recommend this Park Slope bistro. What a find!
This tiny jewel is hidden between a beauty salon and a real estate company on Main St. It's well worth the parallel parking! The coffee bar is charming with a warm fire in the winter and lots of seating choices for visiting and relaxing. The...More
Great coffee, friendly and warm staff. Atmosphere is great with live local musicians playing every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. Love the local art hanging on the walls as well.

We were visiting relatives last weekend and went to the Star City Coffee Shop every morning. The staff is exceptional and is working very hard to make this place the best in the county!

Really nice ambiance. Local artwork, plus plenty of comfortable seating. Cinnamon bun was small, but tasty. Scone and Latte were superb. They have a good thing going on here. Definately a starbucks like vibe with plenty of opportunity. I'll be back!
