I went to King of the Roll 3 days ago (10/01/16) and got the dynamite roll. Within 15 minutes my face started to swell up and was turning red. I went to the ER thinking I was having an allergic reaction to something but when I got there I was diagnosed with Scombroid Poisoning, which is food poisoning caused by... More

I was not impressed with the Sushi. The portion size was great but my sushi tasted if it had been sitting out or under a warmer and it was not tempura, my salad as well. I wouldn't have sad to much about it but the restaurant was practically empty when I arrived. The menu was priced okay, maybe a bit... More

This was the second time we visited, hoping our experience will be better than the first one. It was not, it was worse. We were seated outside, on their narrow deck, with tacky, old half-torn plastic table clothes, and cheap plastic seats. Inside was hot, no air conditioning. The place does not seem to be run by Japanese but by... More

We had dinner here while visiting Portland and staying in the area. The restaurant was nice and service was good but the sushi was just okay. The Kano roll and dynamite rolls were good but the white tuna was not very good.

I was very impressed with the technique, and the menu selection.. there was plenty of choices for those who are not HUGE into sushi but love the experience. Definitely agree that it is likely the best sushi in town!

Have always been happy with my experience here. In the warmer months it is nice to sit outside and watch the active city life. Great vegetarian maki offerings.

Tried all over the city, this place is easily the best! Lots of sushi for your buck, and their rolls are pretty inventive. Great atmosphere and they have a healthy brown rice option too

Fresh food in a low key atmosphere in the heart of Portland. Service is efficient and friendly. Great vegetarian sushi choices. Haven't tried non-sushi entrees.

This had never happened to me before, 40 Dollars for a single lunch at this place and with the poor quality Sashimi. A few days ago , I went to this place, ordered Monkfish liver and other few pieces of Sashimi as well. The owner who was my waitress, she charged me $7 /every 3 pieces on my plate. I... More

Great sushi, at moderate prices. They also serve a full Japanese menu, but we only had the sushi on our one visit.
