Went in for drinks on the way home. A LARGE draft beer menu and large food menu as well. Very busy on a Friday night!

Great lost bear is a restaurant that almost has too much craft beer and too many menu options. It's almost too hard to decide. Glb has over 50 craft beers of all different styles including popular local Maine beer brands like bissel brothers, foundation, and rising tide on tap. The menu also has burgers, sandwiches, wings, etc. but also has... More

Arrived with a large party, was seated quickly and our server was patient, helpful, and kind. It was a tad crowded and noisy but the food was good and the decor was warm and interesting.

We ate lunch at the Great Lost Bear on Christmas Eve and really enjoyed it! We ordered a chili burrito and a couple chicken sandwiches. I had a fig beer, in honor of the season. I have nothing bad to say about any part of the meal. Everything was absolutely delicious. There was hot sauce on the table for me... More

We went to the Great Lost Bear for dinner and I was quite surprised. The place is pretty big with different rooms and eclectic décor. The menu has a good selection with everything from burgers to fish tacos to spanakopita. The beer selection is also pretty vast. The service was good, the food was good and the selection was good!

Great selection of local, Maine & New England beers & national and international taps. Very local, neighborhood bar/ restaurant feel. Great nachos; nice bar. Large restaurant also with all ages if clientele- from kids, college students, middle age and older couples and families. Huge vegetarian and carnivore menu.

Both my friend and I ordered this that comes either open face or in a sandwich. Fish very fresh tasting. Not your typical bar, great service from Sara.

After a matinee at Portland Stage Company, thought we would pop over for a quick bite with family, hadn't been in years! Although not very busy, we waited 10 minutes for the table to be cleared, what? Ordered various burgers, kids chicken fingers meals, haddock roll up, and The Lewiston cheesesteak. From feedback given at the table, would say our... More

The Great Lost Bear is a terrific place to meet friends for a good time. The food is delicious and interesting. The restaurant has a pub-like atmosphere, and many people do order beer with their meal, especially in the evening. At lunch, less beer might be consumed, but the fun atmosphere and pub food is still prevalent. The restaurant is... More
