We dropped in on a Wednesday night, and had a great meal and very good service. Met the owner, and got helpful recommendations from our waitress. The burger and poutine entrees were both terrific. Cocktails and food totaled $60, and expected it to be substantially more costly. Parking nearby, and located one block back from the art museum...would enthusiastically recommend.

We were staying at the Westin hotel and this place was recommended by the staff. A short, cold walk and we were there. Cute atmosphere, great music and friendly staff and the Best onion soup we ever had. Hot, bubbly and delicious! The burger was great too. Wish we had gone back for dinner that night....went to an upscale place... More

Stopped in for a beer and a bite. I selected Little Tap House because it is a member of my hotel dining club program and I needed to preserve some points. Parking was easy in the pat and display lot across the street. The restaurant is warm, cozy. And quiet. There was only one other table occupied while we were... More

My wife and I live in Portland and a lot of people we know love this place. We came here to have a craft beer and a burger. We found that the burgers wer just OK and a little overpriced. This is a ok little place with a small food menu. We also didn't find the front staff help very... More

The name implies exactly what they offer-the beer selection, menu and seating area is, well little, but not in a bad way. They try to upscale the basic pub menu, which works for some items but $3 for popcorn or $8 for homemade potato chips that were not "out of this world" seems too much. The burger is awesome as... Hi TravellingBs, Thank you so much for coming in and for taking the time to leave a review. We all really appreciate it! Our House Made chips are $6 and our popcorn is $3. Portion-wise, the House Chips work well as a shared appetizer and are located under the category "Shares"; the popcorn, a daily changing popcorn, is a smaller... More

This is an adorable, warm and cozy bar ... WITH a friendly staff AND Maine-centric craft beer. I broke a 26 day no alcohol diet to enjoy the moment.

Neat little pub! Little Tap House offers some mind blowing awesome burgers. I do not think that we have ever had burgers that tasted so good. Cooked to perfection! Great beer also. Waitress was superb! Why not 5 stars? The seemingly fake french fries that were served with the meals were very surprising. Top notch burgers accompanied by some terrible... More

The day after Christmas this was one of the few restaurants open for lunch and it was a gem. Accommodations for a one year old with fantastic service. Box lunches were just right with a small sandwich and a salad or yummy french fries, which the one year old loved. I highly recommend the reuben or the lox or the... More

We just wanted a drink and a bite to eat. We were driving by and pulled in. The menu was small, but the food was very good! The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff was attentive and pleasant. There was a good variety of local brews on tap as well as a full bar. We will definitely stop back in.

One of my favorite spots in Portland, this dimly lit gastropub has very solid apps that can be paired with one of its 14 or so local craft beers or a quality cocktails. The food quality is excellent and the presentation thoughtful. Service has always been friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Bar seating as well as quiet tables are... More

Hi there! Such a thoughtful review! As a human based business, it is truly kindness like this that makes everything we do - seven days a week, twelve hours a day - worth it. Thank you for dining with us and for taking the extra time to not only write a review, but put something positive out into the world.... More
