This is a great little place. Nice selection of local beers on tap. Happy Hour specials looked good. We did not have any food but it looked well worth trying.

Several $5 specials at the Little Tap House on a Thursday evening. The bar area is modern and classic with a good energy.

Found this place by accident after spending 2 hours at Portland's great art gallery which is just opposite. Lots of choices of beer, cosy atmosphere and terrific service. We were going to eat elsewhere but saw the food going to other tables and decided to order. We were so glad we did. The mussels were to die for. Huge slices... More

Our first impression was what a unique place, cozy, accommodating. The Google search didn't mention the hours for eating, and apparently, we got there at the wrong time---in between lunch and dinner--because at 3:30 we were not allowed to order anything from the food menu. Feeling obligated to order a drink, we sat with drinks, and water---and nothing else. Our... More

I had brunch there in March 2017. We had to wait until they opened at 11AM on a Sunday; however, the experience was great. The foot was excellent, and the drink menu sounded great.

Ate hear for lunch twice during a long weekend. Very Maine centric beers on tap and excellent lunch menu. You can select a pick two menu, such as spicy tomato soup and poutine, BLT and frites, rueben egg roll, and some other options, for $12. Not sure of dinner prices but food was VERY good. Wait staff was helpful and... More

We dropped in on a Wednesday night, and had a great meal and very good service. Met the owner, and got helpful recommendations from our waitress. The burger and poutine entrees were both terrific. Cocktails and food totaled $60, and expected it to be substantially more costly. Parking nearby, and located one block back from the art museum...would enthusiastically recommend.

We were staying at the Westin hotel and this place was recommended by the staff. A short, cold walk and we were there. Cute atmosphere, great music and friendly staff and the Best onion soup we ever had. Hot, bubbly and delicious! The burger was great too. Wish we had gone back for dinner that night....went to an upscale place... More

Stopped in for a beer and a bite. I selected Little Tap House because it is a member of my hotel dining club program and I needed to preserve some points. Parking was easy in the pat and display lot across the street. The restaurant is warm, cozy. And quiet. There was only one other table occupied while we were... More
