I recently went to Boone's fish house and oyster room to celebrate a birthday. The wait was long without a reservation but the setting was enjoyable to wait for our table. We sat on the deck on a lovely summer evening. We skipped the appetizer...More

We ate on the outside deck of this restaurant. The view of the water is blocked by a fence with flowers on top which would have annoyed me but it also blocked the foot traffic of everyone walking past who were headed to the other...More

Been to Boones before, not going back. Place was filled with smoke from their wood fired grill which had a hood that does absolutely nothing. Eyes were burning the whole night, wait staff said it gets that way when they use it to cook. This...More

Great spot, friendly hostess, waiter was lacking greatly and food was OK. Lobster roll was mundane and the meat was room temp on the roll. The fish in the fish taco was good. The chowder was nothing special off the coast of Maine. It lacked...More

The chef knows his stuff. Delicately prepared and flavored blackened fish, but the distinctive treat was the lobster potato hash. One a nice summer evening, the outdoor seating was very pleasant, while the indoor seating area looked warm and comfortable when the weather is rougher....More

If you like lobster and outside seating then give this place a try. The service is fine and the lobster is cooked properly. Boone's has occupied this spot for years and is predictable. Walk the waterfront.

I see many negative reviews but my husband and I had a very good dining experience at Boone's over the holiday weekend. First, I called ahead to see if we could bring our dog and while they don't normally take reservations, the person I spoke...More
