Eventide is on my family's Best Place I Ever Ate list. Ever since it opened, we've tried to dine here at least once per Maine trip. Yes the wait is sometimes long, but they make it easy by giving an estimated wait time and taking...More

I live in Northern N.H. and love heading to Portland for a weekend or just a night out. Eventide is always a must visit for us. The food is delicious and the service is always friendly!

Recommendation for those who visit Portland - Book restaurants in advance even in off season. We ate late and got in. I loved the portions so you could try different dishes. The Oysters were amazing and so was the lobster roll. Less bread is not...More

As a Portland local for more than half the years I’ve been alive, I’ve seen a lot restaurants come and go. The trio of Hugo’s, Eventide and Honey Paw is a great staple to the food scene here. Sharing the same kitchen and umbrella’d under...More

Small restaurant with an amazing atmosphere. The Lobster roll was amazing, one of the best so far( they also have a special Gluten Free Bun, that taste also great ). Book a table if you can, otherwise you will wait really long.

13 different types of oysters on the menu. Can mix and match. Specialty drinks a nice touch. Serving sizes are small for appetizers but very tasty. Cramped seating. Will go back when not having to stand and eat.

Lobster rolls and the oysters are out of this world. Make sure you have your name down cause the wait is usually long. Totally worth it tho.

Great oysters! Small restaurant with interesting food. The lobster rolls are very good albeit a bit small (but tasty).

It's not far, but you can also drive if you want. It's on Middle Street, so it is the next parallel street to Fore Street, one block further from the harbor. Then it is about three blocks over to Franklin, and it is almost... More

Just opened and is owned by Hugo's next door. Excellent "tapas" small plate seafood. Oysters from Maine and away. Incredible cured Artic Char.
