Stopped here for breakfast...loved the space , the service and the food. Had eggs Benedict with smoked salmon...eggs cooked perfectly and the salmon was so fresh. The grits that went with were the best...cheesy with cheddar. Will go again ..best meal while in Portland

I stopped by Hot Suppa on my last morning in Portland for brunch. It was a fabulous choice. The southern infused breakfast / brunch menu made it pretty tough to choose, but I settled on one of the specials: a sloppy joe / Benedict creation...More

I had a gift card so thought I’d give it a try; note it is a very small establishment, there is usually a line and a wait and parking isn’t so great. I opted to order to go as I was on my lunch; which...More

After a long day this became a very nice way to end the day. Small; eclectic and local, I only ended up there as it was close to the hotel. Sat at the bar; not crowded on this Thursday. Tried the corn, andouille and shrimp...More

My wife and I went for breakfast during the week. Food was, at best, warm when served. Wait staff not attentive. Maybe they should rename it "Warm Suppa". There should be no excuse for serving a meal that isn't hot. This is a pretty basic...More

Four of us sat right down on a Monday morning for breakfast at Hot Suppa. We didn't know how lucky we were until we saw the crowds forming in the vestibule behind us, waiting to be seated. Service was friendly and efficient and the menu...More

Parking is a challenge. There is no lot for the restaurant. Depending on what time I day we go for dinner, we often have found a spot out front, or may park on a side street. The restaurant is worth it, so we would even park... More

The menu at Hot Suppa is all made from scratch from quality ingredients; local goods are used whenever possible. Our renowned breakfast and lunch are served seven days a week, so you can get that corned beef hash fix whenever you’re jonesing. Dinner is available five nights a week, featuring our favorite dishes, like fried chicken & a waffle, falafel salad, and Maine oysters on the half shell. We offer a full bar service if you care to relax into the evening with a Porch Swing cocktail, or recover in the morning with a spicy Bloody Mary or cold draft beer.
