We met two friends here for dinner while traveling in Maine. Our server was really great and very personable. We all had a round of drinks to start. We shared the tuna appetizer served on wonton chips with seaweed salad, the calamari and oysters on the half shell. All appetizers were delicious. For dinner, I had the filet and shrimp.... More

Here on a work trip, Fish Bones is a decent walk or a short drive from the Hilton Garden Inn, very close to the Hampton Inn. Calamari was tasty, I had a lobster roll and a Caesar Salad. I am pretty picky about lobster, and this was a very good choice, comes with a cup of very good seafood chowder.... More

Good service. Food is imaginative. Always good quality. Sometimes hard to hear others as the noise does ramp up as the restaurant fills up. Lunch prices are very reasonable. Dinner prices a bit steep. Good selection of wines available. Always some good dishes for those in the group not keen on fish or seafood. Menu changes from time to time.

We were disappointed, the presentation was very nice, the portions small and the pricing high. Service was good.

What a cool restaurant! We stayed at the Hampton Inn across the street. Our co-workers had recommended this as a good place for seafood. We drove by on the way back to the hotel and noticed how close we were so we had to try it for dinner. It was great that it was close enough to walk to from... More

Eight of us recently came for dinner for the first time. Our table was roomy, the atmosphere very comfortable and our server Lindsay was wonderful and extremely accommodating. I ordered from the special prix fixe menu and chose the French onion soup gratinee' and prime strip filet with potato leek tart ($24.00). Delicious, aesthetic, and filling. Everyone raved about their... More

We travel between Sugarloaf Mt and Massachusetts often and finally found a fabulous place to eat. Not crowded late afternoon and fabulous service from Tiana. We had delicious piping hot lobster stew...which he loved along with a great beet salad with goat cheese. We split a seafood entree with lobster cream sauce that was to die for. Yes we're coming... We celebrated a work milestone at Fishbones, and it was perfect! We all had something different and were all extremely pleased. My Tuna was perfectly cooked exactly the way I like it.

Obviously one of the better restaurants in town. Good food and good service. The lobster stew was really a soup. The bread pudding was delightful.

Restaurant chose to accept a reservation for 30 which seriously compromised the quality of our service and food. Main course arrived over 30 minutes after our salads and 2 of 3 dinners were cold. Shared this but also did not want to wait for fresh plates. Should have been comped when I barely ate 20 percent of the meal. Not... More

Dear Deborah T., I am so sorry to read about your unfortunate experience with us on your last visit. We obviously fell short of your expectations as your group happened to fall behind a larger group which caused a delay and was further compounded by the fact that we under performed on the meals we delivered to your table. I... More
