This place is the best in the market harborough area by far. The interior is spectacular, everything is so well thought out. Very very tasteful. I visited on Wednesday this week with my mum and sister who was visiting from Florida. We ate in the new Part which is just beautiful. The staff whether you visit on a lunchtime or evening... More

I always visit this place when over from Australia and am never disappointed with either the food or service. Johanna and Tremain have done an amazing job with updating the overall quality of the place without losing the atmosphere of a country pub. Will definitely be back. Love it!

Went for dinner with my wife and x2 friends the service maybe a little slow but the quality of the food is so high it's worth the wait, landlord and landlady were friendly and apologetic for the delay and when you get food that good at reasonable prices I think the owners staff deserve to be successful and the wait... Had a lovely meal here with family. Nothing but praise for this lovely place. Staff very friendly and very informative about the menu, explaining what was in the curry etc. Very helpful with the vegetarian and gluten free questions we asked. Everyone enjoyed their meals.....shell/fish curry, vegetarian, steak and chicken.....all cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. Definitely recommending this place... More

First time here, family over from norfolk. Sunday lunch was delicious. Johanna was very informative with the daily specials. An older lady with glasses wasn't so good with knowledge of desserts or drinks and got my partners request wrong but otherwise nice place, garden room decor is divine and love the idea dogs can sit with you while you dine.... I don't come here often but when I do the food is fantastic and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Always a service with a smile. Would definitely recommend this place. My Aunty and Uncle are not local but they love the food...everytime we meet we always meet here.

First time visit but now on my must-return-to list!! Arrived at 14:25 for lunch only to find out kitchen was closing at 14:30 BUT they were very accommodating and still let us order lunch - and 'proper' food at that, not just given the option of sandwiches etc. I ordered the pork three ways and friends ordered steaks (see pics)... On a recent trip we had to get permission to get a drink. Service was so sour and could hear the staff moaning about the customers. Got my drink at 17:50 on Sunday as they said they were closing at 18:00. But still served someone after 18:00. My advice don't go there. Very rude staff and when you leave they... More

Good morning ,We would like to say thank you for your review .obviously it's not the comments we like to hear. I'm afraid we close at 6pm on a Sunday and last orders are at 5.30pm the member of staff who dealt with you obviously tried to accommodate you after this time .We have also looked into your comments about...
