Friendly and very helpful wait staff. Lived up to the Diner name. Plenty of food, "home" made. Quickly served but did not feel hurried to leave.

You can't beat the food or the workers at this high street location. Martha and her crew are so openly friendly. I love to go there during the week when it is not quite so crowded. Weekends can be a very busy time this place...More

Had a breakfast and a lunch on two different days during last week. Superb food, competent and prompt service, friendly all around!
Wow. What a great breakfast. The corned beef hash was delicious. Home made toast topped it all off. My wife enjoyed a huge pancake.
The best omelets I have had in years. Good toast-- well toasted, buttered well... sounds easy but all too often it's overlooked. Try the specials and ask what the choices of bread for toast are.
Ate here twice while visiting the Bar Harbor area. Both times we had a short wait. Seemed to me that lots of locals eat here. On the second visit, i tried the special with apples and ricotta cheese. WOW! It was wonderful and the portion...More
