The food is excellent and the cocktail/wine list is well curated. The service is very good. Note that the menu is more of a farm-to-table style, which means not huge, and some seasonal ingredients are repetitive (lots of kale, lots of fennel, lots of arugula...).

We dined here on a Saturday evening and were able to get 6 pm reservations late in the day. We enjoyed drinks and appetizers outside during happy hour, then moved inside for our dinner. One of us had the lamb chops which were excellent, though...More

The flatbreads were a perfect starter, but the grilled calamari stole the show. Heavenly to say the least. The peach cobbler was also a perfect ending.

Been several times for happy hour and dinner. Food has always been good but have had some bad experiences while having drinks and apps with friends in the bar area. The bartender has been rude and service very slow. Happy hour prices for apps and...More

My second meal there, and wow. I was going to avoid it because I'm gluten-free, but I took a chance--more about that in a moment. My special drink was perfect.... followed by mussels in a delicious garlic sauce. The chef sent some special GF bread...More

Food was just ok, very hot - almost like Mexican food. The staff never smiled, seemed like they really didn’t want to be there. We couldn’t wait to pay and leave. Anyplace else in town has to be better, not worth the money at all....More

Description
Located in the century-old Knox Mill, our bistro is situated on top of the Megunticook River, just between the two waterfalls. At Brevetto, our modern Italian bistro cuisine is designed to pair perfectly with our extensive– and almost exclusively Italian– wine list. Brevetto is Italian for “patent,” and throughout the restaurant you will find turn-of-the-century schematics of wine presses and odd, out-dated food machines. In stark contrast to the complicated workings of a “salami washing machine,” our menu is simple and straightforward. We feature a large menu with a range of grilled pizzas, Italian pastas, and a variety of entrées. In addition to our extensive wine list, we also have a full bar with artisan draft beers and liquors. Enjoy your dinner in our inviting dining room, or on our waterfront deck. Relax with an obscure Italian red wine at our bar, or an extra-dry gin martini on the leather sofa. Brevetto has some of the best of both worlds, right in downtown Camden.
