Nice casual indoor/outdoor lobster shack but way more than a shack. Lobsters are cooked perfectly. Lobster rolls cold or warmed! Pretty good beer and wine selection. Nice views of the Harbour. Terrific sunsets. Staff is super friendly without "interrupting" just service right when you need...More

The lobster roll and crab cake appetizer were nice. It's an odd place; you wait in line to place your order and then get a number, and it's delivered to your table.

One waits in line to order at a window (line can be very long at times so plan accordingly); after ordering you locate a table (outside on multi-level decks) or inside. Your meal order is brought to your table. Many wonderful choices on the menu,...More

Lots of Midcoast restaurants serve lobsters to their patrons on picnic tables, but the Lobster Dock does it better than anyone. While waiting in line to order lobsters and craft beer seems milennial, the owner regularly works the crowd to answer questions and greet first-timers...More

We love the lobster dock. A fabulous selection of seafood. We tried lobster several ways, clams (steamers and fried), haddock, shrimp and the shipyard summer ale was delicious. You order and a window, but are served at your table. So it's very casual. But the...More

Our first stop when arriving in Boothbay, good gauge for prices and quality. Lobster roll prices were up this year and they seemed a little smaller, but the scallops (fried or broiled) were excellent. order at the window, and wait for food to arrive at...More

We just returned from Boothbay Harbor where we had dinner 3 out of 4 nights at Lobster Dock. We have moved to an area where it's difficult to find fresh seafood so we really enjoyed the fried scallops and steamed lobsters. I don't think you...More

Pick your own lobster out of the tank and wait for it to cook--or order one of their other many options. This is fun casual dining.

We were staying close to the Lobster Dock and it was also recommended by our boat captain. We stopped in for a late dinner. I ordered cup of clam chowder and shrimp cocktail. My friend ordered a fish sandwich and onion rings. The onion rings...More

We had a Lobster Roll as the Lobster Dock and it was a nice change to have it warmed with butter, but it was not outstanding. We were somewhat surprised that the Lobster Rolls were not that special, since we had to wait in line...More

Locally caught lobster is our specialty. Several hundred pounds are stored in our sea water tank. You may select your own from the tank and watch as they are prepared for cooking in our large outdoor pots. We have all sizes of the tasty shellfish, from one to four pounds. To those new to lobster, we will gladly assist on how to best eat them and explain the differences between hard and soft shell. The Outdoor Patio at The Lobster Dock The flavor of Maine is further captured in our other offerings. Stews and chowders are prepared daily from only the freshest ingredients. The shrimp and scallops we use are caught in the waters of the Boothbay Region. Clams are also supplied by local diggers most every day. Our mussels are grown on a salt water farm in Tenants Harbor. Fish caught in the North Atlantic are supplied to us from Boothbay Fish Dealers. We accept only the freshest available. It is not unusual for us to refuse deliveries that do not meet our quality standards.
