Large menu, food is good, large portions. Fun place with Roosters everywhere. Very friendly staff, seating is on the uncomfortable side, stay away from the booths.

Large. Clean. Plenty of parking. Had baked scallops, homemade coleslaw, homemade potato salad, steamed vegetables & Maine clam chowder. Shared a bottle of wine with my spouse. Spouse had Maine clam chowder, lobster roll, homemade coleslaw. EVERYTHING was excellent! Rookie waitress but she did well. Total bill, including tip: $71.40. Interesting artifacts throughout the building. Closed Monday & Tuesday.

I had some hesitations about this restaurant when I saw piped mashed potatoes in the cuisine pictures posted, but our family of four still ventured out to give the Rooster a chance. We were seated upstairs which was very rustic and cozy. Our son has severe allergies and wanted to Order some Chili. We asked if there was any pork... More

Rooster's Roadhouse continues to be a favorite of locals and visitors alike! Most likely because the owners, Gary and Steve, consistently serve quality food at affordable prices. They are also known for your generosity of local causes, including the local Rotary Club's Christmas for Children, another local Christmas support organization (Christmas for Families), local festivals, The Chamber of Commerce and... Food was decent but lack of service for the 'automatic' 20% tip! Waitress was non-existent other than serving one round of drinks, food and no water! What's the incentive?! Don't appreciate being told how to tip with non-earned service.

Went with friends as it was recommended by our VRBO.......first off 3 water glasses were dirty with lipstick. Ordered a lobster roll, sent it back as it was frozen lobster that was old. Ordered chicken wings, you could tell those had been previously frozen too. Waiter was really nice, but between all of the above & the premade salads, We... More

We were a group of four and decided to try Roosters based on the (mostly) positive reviews and it's proximity to our hotel. The atmosphere was good, pretty buzzy for a Monday, and everyone was friendly and welcoming. Food was ok, but not great. Standard stuff really. The vegetables served with two of the mains were freezing cold, and when... More

Very good food and comfortable atmosphere. Stopped in on our way to Sunday River - something about seeing the snow mobiles outside made us think it was a good take.... good wings, sandwiches, and drinks. Staff is very friendly and makes it a fun environment.

Nice place with an extensive menu. Nice surroundings. My son and I had the lobster roll and soup (Clam Chowder) combination. We were pleased with the lobster roll portion and the quality of the soup. Good beer options available. Definitely would eat there again.

Reasonably priced lobster rolls...$16.99 per roll. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Many different food choices.
