Excellent local venue, right by the docks. Typical menu offerings and very good and fresh. Lobster rolls were outstanding. Great water views.

Came to Thurston's on recommendation of a bartender in Bar Harbor. Best lobster experience I can imagine. Great food. Great view. All around wonderful experience.
Usually there for dinner, but stopped for lunch last week... wow! The lobster BLT is great. Toasted wheat bread with tons of lobster chunks and a dark ale... watching the harbor on an early Fall afternoon... doesn't get much better... see you next year, Thurston's!
If you love grilled cheese, the crab or lobster grilled cheese is a must...served hot crunchy and delicious..or try the lobster BLT..yum..or their haddock chowder..all served with a view of the iconic working Bass Harbor..
