Looks very nice as you enter with a cosy bar area through which is the reassurance area. Had the carvery for Sunday lunch. Meat on offer was beef, gammon or, rather surprisingly, turkey. It was a bit of a disappointment that both pork and lamb were not available, but both the need and gammon were well cooked and served with... More

Never been disappointed here, have taken parents, family and friends. Good quality Sunday type roasts, good beers, good general menu, I loved the locally sourced chicken!

We visited the Wrygarth Inn for Sunday lunch yesterday, to say it was disappointing is a under statement, We sat at a dirty table and no one rushed to clean it.We then had to ask for someone to take our order, It then took them thirty minutes before we were shown to the carvery, when we got there the swede... Just called for a drink this afternoon although we have eaten there on previous occasions. It was great to see the place busy with diners the majority of whom appear to be Sunday lunch regulars. The food coming out looked very nice and was well presented. Pleasant and cheery staff led excellently by Sandra the boss.

We were a party of eight to celebrate my husband's birthday. (Although I had booked a table for ten by mistake, this was not a problem). Staff were very welcoming and gave us time to peruse the menu before taking orders. Everyone had something different to eat from the carvery to fish and chips. I personally had the peppered steak... Went a couple of weeks ago on sunday-3pm nearly empty-nobody at entrance- they are advertising local products and meats- Chose my pint of beer-sat on an anonimous dining room (seemed to return in a late 70s place. Dull colours . For your meal you have to go and choose it (fair enough) it was turkey, beef and pork(unfortunately the pork... More

The food here is absolutely fantastic and you only have to taste it to realise everything is homemade and the produce used is of a very high quality. Portion size is generous and we left completely stuffed as it was too good to leave anything. Staff are nice and friendly and it is very reasonably priced. Well worth a visit.

this place supplies good food and service with a smile. It is wheelchair friendly and allows customers dogs to enter its family area. I've enjoyed their carvery meal every Friday for at least a couple of years now and find the food delicious and very reasonable in cost. I would recommend to all

Sunday dinner at the Wrygarth can be followed up with a round of crazy golf. What more can you want? The roast dinner is delicious and it has a good children's menu as well.
