The place was deserted but service was just the right pace. Food was just right without a wow factor but right and pleasant. Service was friendly. Good menu selection and good wine choices.

Terrific terrific food.... great service and terrific environment. A must try in town. It is one of the best places. They have live music on the weekend. You can have dinner and then go up for live music and drinks
We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere of this restaurant. We went on a Thursday night and were surprised to find it mostly empty (staff was surprised too). Visited today for brunch first time. Great service with fantastic food. Had Eggs Houssard, it was wonderful. Also tried fried green tomatoes that had a boiled shrimp on top with Roumalade sauce. Special today was beef liver smothered with onion and grits, also very good.
Located Downtown Thibodaux, located in a recently resorted building. Downstairs is the dining area. Menu is very limited and menu items are very pricey. Upstairs has an indoor bar area as well as an open patio area.
It is one of the BEST restaurants in town. Steaks are great and shrimp and grits are to die for. However the nightly specials are always great to try.
My wife and I had dinner early on a Thursday. We were the only patrons at that time. However, the food and service were both excellent. We both had pasta meals and were completely satisfied. This place is now an Italian restaurant so the current menu is completely different both in selections and prices.
We ordered steaks done to perfection and softshell crab the way they should be done. My wife got a rack of lamb with no complaints. The lemon drop martinis are done with their own self made juices. They just re-launch this restaurant and they on the right track for success.
The Foundry's new menu and expanded wine selection is a pleasant addition to local dining options. The upstairs balcony offers a beautiful pre or post meal view when weather permits.
Hadn't been here since my uni days, in the 80's. Nice atmosphere and excellent wait staff. Enjoyed my fish and crab dish (shame they used canned rather than fresh artichoke). Also liked one of the microbrewery beers now on offer. All in all a very good evening!
