Best steak in Slidell and perhaps New Orleans. Prices are good. There is no sign outside and never has the business had one. The decor and service is a bit old. Still the steak is great.

Young's food is truly to die for, never a bad meal. Service on the other hand is slower than a tortoise on downers. Still a must if you want a meal that won't disappoint. Staff is not sufficient for the amount of business.

All of the steaks plus side dishes like fried onion rings and sautéed mushrooms are excellent. Good date place, business meetings, to impress someone or just for self-satisfaction, this is a great spot. Been here for a long time. Expect to wait as this place...More

Youngs has been in Slidell almost forever, at least as long as we have lived here. (29 years). I proposed to my wife there! They have a very nice menu with a nice variety of steaks and seafood. Check out some of the specials too.

Great steakhouse in Slidell ..been around forever. Family owned great ambience. Get the sides they are just as good as the steaks!
