Nice place to visit, you wouldn't want to live there. Great Shreveport history. Nice pictures and the Shrimp Buster is a must! Pictures of U2 spy plane when I was there. Must have flown out of Barksdale AFB. Kix Books favorite dive!

We accidentally found this place to eat lunch while we were waiting for a local brewery to open, and we are glad we did. It is very small "hole in the wall" in a vacant area of town. It's been open for a very long time and loved by locals. Had an oyster loaf sandwich with onion rings. Fantastic! The... More

The kids ordered burgers and onion rings (and didn't gag too much over our oysters and beer). All went away happy-great place but don't... More

Herby K's has been a very long time. It's quaint. It's small. They became famous locally for the way they cook their shrimp. Check them out for lunch!

Held a celebratory late lunch with 12 members of our family here because it has been a favorite for over 40 years. Most of us live out of state now but always enjoy a meal here. After a short wait we sat at the long picnic tables on the patio, perfect for two elderly ladies to sit on the end... More

Food is great, building is a tad old with outdoor restrooms. Not very large and few seats, but well worth the visit.
