Family owned, Family run. Not a fast food restaurant. Your food is cooked when you order and your order is cooked the way you want it!

I don't know how I missed this place! We grabbed lunch here today, and ordered shrimp & roastbeef poboys. HOLY COW!!! if you like overstuffed shrimp poboys & sloppy roastbeef poboys this is your place. It took about 10 minutes for our food to arrive. Which is not bad for freshly made poboys. The shrimps were cooked just right and... More

Goal Post has some of the best Roast Beef Po-boys. Their shakes all so good, you have to order one for after your meal. The food is cooked to order, so if you call ahead, you don't have to sit and wait. This is one of my favorite places for lunch in Raceland!

Use to always go to the Dairy Cool for my po-boys when in Raceland but it's closed. So we came here based on family recommendation and we were quite pleased. We had catfish and shrimp poboys and all were great. Service was a little slow but well worth it.

This is NOT a fast food place. Food is cooked as the orders come in. I recommend their homemade chili, shakes, and I like to order the cajun with hamburger patty. Delicious combination. People rave about the roast beef, but I don't like it. Not open on weekends.

Don't stop here if you've just gotten out of work and are tired and really hungry. Placed an order at the window and waited half an hour to find out that she forgot to call the order back to the cook! Got a refund and went to a REAL diner. Won't wast my time stopping again. I guess they cater... More

Lived in the area for years and now every time I am in the area again we order roast beef poboys. I have never tasted better anywhere. I have turned my daughters on to them and they agree. Cant get one without bringing them home one too.

Negatives-How can you say a frozen patty hamburger patty is good? sure 20 years ago when I first moved to Raceland and they were still using fresh beef it was good. But now, they grilling frozen meat patties it's really no better than any major chain reastaurant. Wendy's even uses fresh patties. Also get ready to wait when you order,... More
