Locate a mile or so from home, this is one of my favorite local restaurants. We go here at least once a week for lunch or dinner. The staff has mostly been there for years, but they are all friendly, polite and try to create a family atmosphere. The food is basic southern comfort food prepared with love and care.... More

I enjoy this little place because it is nice, clean, and larg portions, you will leave with a person bag, haha. The onion rings are the best, thin cut and crispy.

When locals are the majority of the customers, you know you've stumbled upon a hidden gem. This was just such a find! The fried chicken was delicious, the mac and cheese was made with Velveeta (guilty pleasure!!), and the sweet tea was perfect. Immerse yourself in southern hospitality with this cultural experience.

I ate at this restaurant for the second time and it is a casual down home restaurant that has great fried chicken, poor boys at a excellent price. This is where a lot of the locals go and the food is very tasty.

I came here with three friends and we each got a different poboy. We had catfish, oyster, shrimp, and roast beef. All were excellent. Definitely ask to have the bread toasted!

This community restaurant serves great local cuisine. The food taste great and the service is friendly. On Mondays enjoy great Red Beans with sides of salad and meats like smothered or breaded pork chops, fried chicken or baked chicken. The cabbage and stewed hen is very good.
