The fully dressed roast beef PO Boy is a thing worth remembering! Which is exactly what happened today. To get every aspect of this simple sandwich right would seem easy to find but it is not. Here at Mabiles they get it right year after year. Great bread, ample beef and all the trimmings creating a delicious mess best not... More

The best poboy!!! All of them! The roast beef, the ferrty which is ham , roast beef and cheese dressed is awesome! This is the best sandwich shop in Laplace, the muffalatta is the best I have ever eaten! If you want to treat someone for special occasion definitely take them here for lunch!!!

Mabile's makes great po-boys (subs, for you yankees). Their plate lunches are great, too. I usually do lunch there when working in LaPlace.

Visited only once and had an oyster poboy. It was just OK. The oysters were not well seasoned but there were plenty of them. Will probably return to try the roast beef but won't eat the oysters again.

Had the roast beef po boy, the thing was huge! Covered in heavy, made for tasty mess! Will definitely make another trip there! Someone had posted that there wasn't a lot of parking but actually is if you go behind the restaurant!

Love to stop here when I'm visiting our refinery. The food is outstanding and the specials excellent. The roast beef is out of this world. Very juicy and tender. In fact, it can water log your sandwich and you might have to eat it with fork and knife. I love that they have multiple sizes. I don't eat as much... More

If you're ever in south Louisiana you should give this place a try. The food is always hot and they never disappoint. I recommend the salad topped with fried shrimp it's the best in the city if not the entire state.

We were going on a swamp tour and stopped in to Mabile's for lunch before the trip. I wisely got the friend shrimp po-boy except I got a roll instead of the French bread because I knew the larger size would be too much (trying to pace myself for the bread pudding to come later). I didn't realize that my... More

We stopped by here after hearing how good it was. We had the shrimp, shrimp/oyster & roast beef. They were all good, especially the roast beef but we've eaten better. Old Tyme grocery in Lafayette & Bon Creole in New Iberia have what my family considers better but Mabile's does serve quality po-boys.

Thank Chas M
