Last year, this restaurant was referred to me by someone I met on a flight from New Orleans. Since we found ourselves back in the area, we decided to try it out. The place is very small so the wait to be seated was around 30 minutes. I ordered a shrimp po' boy and a cup of turtle soup. My... More

Great food and great service. There were a lot of people waiting in line but we were in, in no time and the food was great and the service was fantastic.

I try to eat here every time I come to NOLA. Very good oysters! Love the Royal Red shrimp when they are in season

We have been coming here for years! Very often our first or last stop coming in and out of the airport. Delicious gumbos, soups, fresh oysters and po-boys as you would expect. They surprise you with complex specialties like crawfish stuffed mirliton pirogue .... and what I think are the best ever onion rings! All this and family prices!

Since this restaurant is a bit ways from the tourist spot, boy is it different. The portion is huge and the cost is perfect. They do get busy at times, but I assure you that the wait is worth it! I had their swamp platter, which consisted of turtle soup, frog legs, gator sausage and a few more items. Great... More

I came in town around 4 and got to the restaurant at 430 on a Saturday. The only space available was at the bar. It stayed that way the whole time I was there. It's a diner. Simple tables and chairs, a bar along the right wall. It's cramped. People are standing in the middle waiting to be seated. They... More

This place was one of those nice locally owned hole in the wall type setting. Very busy and loud but the food and servers were awesome. I can't remember my waitresses' name (she had a cute mole/birthmark on her cheek) but she was helpful with the menu and we enjoyed the food. I had grilled shrimp with potatoes, corn and... More

I found this place by accident. I noticed the amount of people in the parking lot and the wait outside. I knew there was something great hiding inside. I was alone so, I sat at the oyster bar. I ordered a very cold beer and fried crab claws. Both were excellent! I was recommended to try the turtle soup and... More

We had the catfish, oysters, shrimp and crab baskets...not a lot of fish for the price and everything is fried. The service was good, but food just okay

Great seafood dive in Kenner. Service was a little slow but all the food was great. Not too heavy but enough flavor to keep anyone satisfied. Would come back if in the area.
