Always Great food! Very friendly staff and the BEST chicken and sausage gumbo you will ever have, or at least I think so!

The food is always good but the service is hit or miss. Special days and Fridays the service seems to be overwhelmed as they never have enough help. Lunch is great... good food... good service
This restaurant was highly recommended to us by several locals. It was mobbed for a Friday night. Waited about a half hour. Food was outstanding. Had the shrimp boil and it was prepared to profection as was the chicken and andulie sausage gumbo. The service was only fair. Couldn't get an ice tea refill. Took forever to get our meals.... More
Dear Iralgo, It is very important that every visit to DON'S Seafood is wonderful. Your feedback is truly appreciated. Thank you for speaking with us about your visit. We look forward to seeing you soon. Thank you, DON’S Seafood More
Food was good. Serving boiled crawfish the night I was there. Menu is extensive so if you want good seafood you should check this out. There was not enough staff so service was kind of spotty. Certainly not attentive. Overall a good experience.
We were greatly pleased w the food! Hamburger steak - stuffed shrimp - seafood salad (although the lettuce was slightly browning) fried pickles and boudin balls --- SERVICE WAS OUTSTANDING !!!! The only complaint was the time it took for our food to be served -- it was not a full house by any means and our order took 40... More
I really like this restaurant. Good atmosphere for family dining with good food. There are several nights with all you can eat if that is your thing plus their seafood plates are just downright yummy.
Recently ate lunch at Don's and found the food to be average at best. Gumbo and shrimp poboy. Gumbo consisted of a very dark roux and was way too salty and somewhat too hot (seasoning hot). Shrimp were average but the poboy bread was excellent. Somewhat pricey for what was ordered. Not sure we will eat there anytime soon.
Our family always make sure we stop at Don's on our way to Georgia. Food is always hot and delicious, and the service is fantastic. I prefer the shrimp or oysters, my husband like the catfish or etouffe, my son loves the jacked up oysters. We have never been disappointed with the food or service at any of Don's restaurants.
Some Cajun food on her birthday. We really enjoyed this place right off I10. The staff were super friendly and chatted o with us awhile. The shrimp appetizer was awesome. I had the Catfish with shrimpeople sauce Cajun style, it was great. My wife also enjoyed her meal. Two thumbs up!

The manager reached out to me about my review, which tells me she really cares about the product and service at Dons, this is rare in todays big chain and commercialized establishments, the manager listened to me (another bonus) and seemed to genuinely care about making things right, after speaking with her, I will give Dons another chance, thanks for caring.
