I went to Dakota for the first time while visiting family. It is a lovely restaurant. The owner gave us a tuna appetizer and it was the highlight of our meal. We all really enjoyed. Thank you so much!

Dakota's never disappoints and consistently has some great items like the crab and brie soup is wonderful as are the chargrilled oysters. You can actually taste the oyster!! The service is exceptional - perfectly attentive but not intrusive. They will change things to meet you...More

I had the chargrilled oysters, and they were good, but not Drago's good. No garlic and butter to sop up with bread. The gumbo was a substandard afterthought. Very small portion for $9. Duck and chicken were good but only one little slice of sausage,...More

The Dakota restaurant was a pleasant surprise. After a rather slow day a good meal was in order. I was taken aback by The Dakota. I've never heard of this place, but it is on par with any of the "named" locations around the country....More

Reservations for NYE. Fixed course menu. 3 hours for dinner to be completed. Food sent back, Slow service. The chef should be embarrassed. Staff failed as well. Good luck moving downtown. Never Again.

Enjoyed a lovely dinner at The Dakota. We were seated promptly and served a tasty Heirloom tomato relish with crostini amuse bouche, My appetizer was the foie gras creation which on this visit resembled a small toast sandwich filled with bacon strips and maybe mushrooms...More

We had not been to dakota's in a while and of course I had to have the Brie 🍜 soup Delish as always! The duck was a generous moist portion the slaw it was on was good however the potatoe cake was dry and bland.
