I stopped by for lunch the other day and decided to go with fried oysters. I must say, by far the BEST fried oysters I've ever had. Nice size, lightly breaded and fried perfectly. Generous portions. I will definitely make that stop again. If you are an oyster lover, you need to try Jones Creek Café & Oyster Bar.

My father-in-law took me here for dinner. This is a good, locally owned seafood restaurant with an up-to-date look and feel. Many Louisiana seafood places have good food, but look like they were last decorated in 1958. This place looks and feels like it opened last weekend. The food, however, is classic Louisiana. Great place.

I would like to try to be fair in this review, but let's face it....this restaurant needs real help. I will hand it to them, the football atmosphere is great. However, the food was simply awful. I'll start with the chargrilled oysters. They claim to have "the best oysters in town." I'd say these were the worse oysters I've ever... More

Not many places open on Sunday night but they were and I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. We got the catfish and crawfish poboys and shared them. Both excellent. The fries were a bit soggy. The onion rings are very good.

The service is AWFUL. I was in a large party and had to ask to be served. My water was never refilled and this was without a doubt the worst steak I've ever had in 5 decades of eating beef. Seriously, I'm considering becoming a vegan after this. Keep your money McDonald's is a much better option.

Once a popular place locals hung out, now only an unsuspecting tourist. Worst food and service abominable. Ordered a hamburger steak and it had no taste. Better at Burger King.

Eating next to roaches on the wall - not what I want. Management gave us the impression that this is not uncommon. Employee from the kitchen comes out, removes his apron in front of us, and continues to grab the insect. Did he then put that apron back on? I would bet yes. There are too many CLEAN places to... our party of four adults ate lunch and had mixed impressions on the meal. a good shrimp and corn soup was followed by po-boys that were mediocre. the bread needed to be toasted authentic french bread not the sort long bun which failed as bread. the oysters were greasy. service was a bit distracted. not a meal to boast about.

My wife and I decided to check out the Sunday Brunch today and found one of Baton Rouge's well kept secrets. Tucked away on Market Street in the Eastern part of town, just off Coursey Blvd, Jones Creek Cafe produced one of the best Brunches we have had on that side of town in years. We asked our server "Jamie"... More

This was our first visit. We went on a Sunday after church. The service was good, the food was good, and the environment was good. I was really shocked that the place was not packed. I guess the location is is only negative, you don't pass it on a busy street. It will not be our only visit, we want... More
