Good food! Good service! Good fun. They were out of season when we visited, but hear from family that lives here that they have great crawfish

I am originally from Oklahoma and chicken fried steak is a staple there. Hard to find a good attempt here in the deep south. Sammy's nails it! Lean, tender, gristle-free. Crunchy breading. Not greasy. Cream gravy and mashed potatoes. Comfort food at its best.
We love Sammy's Grill. The menu has something to surely satisfy everyone in your group. It has anything from from soup & salads to hamburgers all the way to steak & Bake potatoes, Boiled crawfish or shrimp. So I highly recommend Sammy's in Central La.
