When I visit BR, this is one of my favorite places to eat. Ask almost anyone where to eat and they will tell you Parrains.very tasty and quite a variety of food selections, especially seafood. Appetizers and desserts are also fantastic!

We were visiting for a wedding in Baton Rouge. Some friends suggested Parrain’s. The food was good as well as the service. Good down-home Cajun food !

We have traveled a lot and depend on reviews. These are all correct. Lunch was totally creole. We split a Shebang. There was so much of it. Just the right portions of everything. We’ll stop if ever through here again.

They offer the standard seafood dishes as well as some house specialties. The oysters are great, as well as great hush puppies and Cole slaw. It was pretty crowded at lunch but they got us in quickly.

If you want a wide variety of really good Louisiana food, this is it. Great fried seafood. Delicious oysters. Tasty boudin balls. Decadent black and blue tuna.

Tuesday is half priced oyster day. Not sure of any specials on Sunday night, but they do have a wonderful Sunday Brunch.
