Excellent salsa and frozen margarita

If you like a frothy frozen margarita for a special occasion and some fresh salsa, this is it. They are the only real option!

Best Mexican Food in town, very family oriented, however they do serve adult beverages. The chips and salsa are made fresh and great sweet tea.

A lot has changed since I reviewed this restaurant 8 years ago!!! The prices are up, the food isn’t as good, the booths are torn and poor management has this place going downhill. When I pay good money to sit in a torn booth and then I’m served dried out chicken fajitas more often than I get it cooked properly I’m writing you off! This place used to be a good friendly atmosphere that you could get a pretty good meal. Now it just seems like they could care less if you even walk through the door. I’m not giving them anymore of my business.

Great selection of just good food. I enjoyed the shrimp. Chips are terrific. They are super thin and perfect for the salsa.

We eat here often. The food is always good and the staff are great. Always good, fast service. They have daily lunch specials. Two for one margaritas. They have two separate dining areas also. Most of the time everyone goes to the front section, I think they use the back section for overflow.

Something Missing

The service was quick, the booths quirkily painted, the food good value and quite tasty... but something was missing. The ambience and atmosphere I was expecting was not there. It wasn't the type of place you would order extra drinks and hang around for a while chatting, it was more of an 'in and out' kind of place which is odd for a Mexican restaurant.

great prices and fast service and stay open late. most in bastrop closes early. they have super specials and thats what i most of the time get. the chips and sala is real good before your meal get there. the sweet tea is very good. just like mons. if you are in bastrop and dont want to eat bedfore 6 pm. then this is the place to go.

when i went to visit my brother is this town, i honestly didn't expect much from the food places offered up, but we tried this Mexican restaurant and it was actually really delicious. so definitely take the family there

Wonderful food. Good size portions. The lunch menu is more than ample with a wide variety. Not too costly and nice atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

I am Impressed

I am Impressed at the food and service. It was a wonderful and pleasant dining experience. The waitress was dynamic! She help our large group and was on top of things the whole time. She was cheerful, considerate and simply a wonderful worker. In spite of a Sunday crowd for lunch our food came out quickly and tasted wonderful.
