After touring in the nearby area, we drove off the beaten path to eat at D.I.'s.The waitress seemed very disappointed that she had to take care of us. Maybe she was hoping she could go home early. Cajun Country usually means friendly people- but not this waitress. The food was good and the servings were very generous. Hopefully, she was... More

Each visit is a pleasure. The best Cajun music and atmosphere. Each item on the menu is most excellent. The boiled crawfish are the best I've ever had.

We are two New York City people who spent 4 nights in New Orleans before venturing west to Cajun country for the weekend. Having never eaten crawfish before, we entered with some trepidation. But once inside the door, we knew there and then that we were in for an experience that was never to be forgotten. Oh, my goodness, every... More

I have only been there during Mardi Gras. There is a long waiting line. Get there early to reserve a place. You order food and then the fun begins. They have an adequate Cajun band with a little dance floor but not many are dancing. So it is fun to dance. Then they have there own captive Mardi Gras Courir... More

Although it is about 15 minutes off the beaten path from I-10, this restaurant is well worth your effort. Drive through the crawfish ponds and you will see D.I's inviting restaurant. Live Cajun music, dance floor and awesome food will make you want to move here. The friendly patrons and servers would want you to. Love this place!

My husband told me the story of how DI'S grew from a small hut to what they are now, so I booked a trip to see for myself. We took my brother and sister in law for the 11 hour journey. We were NOT dissapointed. We had talk to a very friendly Kathy and she had informed us that it... More

This place is 42+ miles from my house. We drive here to eat boiled crawfish several times during the season. Been eating here for 20 years or so. Cajun music on the weekend with dance floor. Small airstrip for planes and helicopters from Ft. Polk.

We made reservations but it wasn't busy for being a Friday evening (we got there a bit late). We had the boiled and BBQ blue crabs. Delicious! Also a seafood platter - very good, too. Enjoyed the band. I would definitely go again!

This trip was disappointing this time. Our waitress wasn't very good at all. And the bad thing was that it wasn't even busy. But as far as the food, it was good. We just didn't get refills on our drinks and our waitress wasn't nice at all.

Music every thur-Sat nights with different groups, all Cajun of course. Hard to get to so ask, about 20 min from Eunice but well worth the trip, even if just for the food. But, if you like good Cajun music, this is the place.

Thank Todd B
