Passed thru for lunch on a weekday. Surprisingly busy. Food tasty and service very good, can't fault it.

Had an enjoyable lunch at the Ferryboat today with the family. Would highly recommend. We ate in the bar area and they had allowed the well behaved family pet Maltese terrier to join us which was very kind of them. The food was excellent.Cannot wait to return.

Excellent lunch, interesting menu, comfortable atmosphere, parking right outside. The waitress was friendly, gave us adequate time to chat before ordering, and didn't mind when we changed it. Drinks brought promptly and coffee offered after the pudding. We were given forks as well as spoons for the puddings, not something that always happens these days. Very enjoyable, will go again.

I haven't visited this pub for about 5 years so wasn't too sure what to expect. We hired the outside garden room for a birthday lunch party as we had small children with us and it meant they would not be any trouble to other customers using this pub. The room was a perfect size for 10 adults and 3... More

Visited with friends for the first time in 10 years and will most certainly be back. The bar and restaurant were busy but that did not effect either the speed or the quality of the service, both were excellent. All 3 courses were of a very high standard, the mains of burger, steak, pizza and beef were very enjoyable. They... More

We met for lunch with our friends yesterday as we have done a couple of times before. The atmosphere was perfect with a busy bar and restaurant. The Christmas decorations are contemporary and stylish and gives the place a "feel good" factor for the time of year. Three of us opted for the rack of lamb which was cooked to... More

Recently moved to Pangbourne. Dinner on Saturday night and lunch on Wednesday. Both excellent meals with first class service. Think I have found my new local restaurant.

We visited today walkin off the street no booking we asked if there was room for two, the young man behind the bar was checking if he could sqeeze us in as it was fully booked, when a very well polite gentleman asked if he could help us in anyway, we think this was the owner. Fingers crossed I said... More

Arrived without booking. Missing our original destination. There were two of us and there was a table available. Food choice was good and service prompt. My husband ordered the prawn and salmon as a main and I had roast beef, followed by cheesecake and coffee. Drinks half a Guinness and appletize. Food arrived a lot quicker than expected and the... The food was good. There were fine wines available but the house wine was a simple Sicilian (Pieno Sud Bianco) that went down a treat. The service very friendly and helpful. One of our party was local which might have influenced things but we had a long, leisurely, amusing lunch that left a warm positive feeling. I would be happy... More
