This place is unique and eclectic. The food is pretty good, but I was really impressed by their desserts. The key lime pie was amazing!

I was looking for vegetarian options around the city and found this tiny gem! We had hummus and pita bread for an appetizer which was delicious. The restaurant has a bit of a spooky feeling. It was dark and rustic with old toys lining the walls... The food was awesome though which made it a wonderful unique experience.

First time here, read history of building before coming. The service was excellent (Donna served us), food was delicious, and the owner was gracious enough to take us on a tour, including maybe the oldest elevator still running in this area. If you are in the area don't pass the opportunity to eat here.

Long my favorite in Cincinnati, YST never fails to deliver a great dining experience. Can't beat the food or the ambiance. Our table had the cod special and the pork chop. You can't go wrong with either. Yes, dessert is a must...choose what you will.

We visited York Street Cafe for a Thursday evening dinner and ordered appetizer, salad, main course, and dessert. Chris, our server, was very attentive and explained all the choices before we ordered each course. When the two of us arrived we were steered to a smallish round table that had comfy padded seats and was very conducive to an conversation.... More

The five of us began with the Mediterranean Board appetizer which consisted of spanakopita, baba ganoush, hummus, greek salad, tabbouleh, and pita. It was so good and very large. We ordered the chicken mole sandwich, smoked salmon wrap, spinach toastie, chicken salad sandwich, and split pea soup. Everything we had was top notch, and was totally eaten right there! Chris... Four of us went for lunch to York Street and found it thoroughly enjoyable. It is interestingly decorated with memorabilia and has a good menu. We shared a Mediterranean Board for an appetizer and each had a delicious sandwiches or "toasties" for lunch. We were too full to try any desserts but they looked great. Waitress and staff were very... More

First, the atmosphere is relaxed amidst a great collection of various collections of memorabilia. The waitstaff could not have been better, but the menu needs some updating. We did not try a main course, so this review is limited to the large dish of Mediterranean appetizer plate and the dessert. It would have been ok if we had asked about... More
