Saturday night around 9 pm we were looking for a place to eat after the volleyball competition. At first we went to the KFC closest to the stadium only to discover that it was closed so we drove to the next thing which was Moby Dick seafood restaurant which doesn't look too appealing from the outside. But there were 8... More

Good fish & fries. Generous portions. Both & stool seating only, no tables with chairs. You have to ask for the restroom key... Much better than Long John's or Hill Street...

I live in Florida but the best fish is in my hometown in Louisville Kentucky. The fish is flaky, sweet cold water white fish with a yummy crispy coating. The fried okra and onion rings are great sides. For fast food fish this is the place.

We have had fried fish sandwiches and onion rings all around town and out of town. Haven't found better anywhere. Always hot and crispy! Very relaxed atmosphere.

We usually go to the Shelbyville Rd restaurant. The food is always freshly prepared. The best onion rings ever. Servers are always pleasant and helpful.

Food was consistently good, cheerful friendly service and fairly clean dining room. Condiments full.

Stopped here to grab a bite to eat for lunch. The staff was friendly and prepared my food rather quickly. I'm not a big fish eater but the fish was excellent. I had a number 1 which was a sandwich, fries, hushpuppy, and a drink. Cost was approximately $8.75.

My wife is from Louisville and has to visit Moby Dick anytime we go. She LOVES the fish there. I am not a fish person but the chicken tenders are very good so I can deal with it. For me the big draw is the fried mushrooms! Love those and my wife has to have fried okra. (yuck). Nothing fancy... More

This is one of our go to places during Lent. A fish box for 2 usually feeds at least 3 people. The onion rings are delicious too.

The service was slow but friendly. The mac and cheese was miniscule!!! And tasted like it was from a box. The fish was flavorless. The onion rings were over cooked. One hush puppy was served. I asked for extra tarter sauce and I got 2 small packages for 2 pieces of fish. The bread was thin and soggy with butter... More
