All the hoopla about this place and I had high expectations. Needless to say, I was disappointed in it. While it's a nice looking place and easy to get to, the pizza left me a bit cold. Usually, I take what's left with me, but not this time. I don't understand why you have to put arugula on anything but... More

Always great pizza and the chop chop salad is excellent. Tend to choose the Brownsboro pizza and then add mushrooms to it.

We went to the restaurant for a late lunch on Monday; arriving around 1:15 pm and only a few tables were in service. Our drink orders were taken promptly and we attempted to order when we were served. Our waiter deferred and said he would be right back; not so-a considerable amount of time before he came back to take... More

We have enjoyed Coals Pizza at both Louisville locations. When we were there last night we had our family with us including a toddler at the Middletown location. The staff was great and very helpful throughout the meal. Cassandra, our waitress was great and it seemed like everyone working there loved their job. Oh, and the pizzas were fantastic as... More

If you love thin crust pizza with fresh ingredients, then you will love Coals. Their Caesar salad is excellent too. They have a very good bourbon list, they even have Pappy's. We love sitting outside on the patio. The staff are wonderful. It's worth the 45 minute drive, we love it. Just wish they would open up a location in... More

This place is hidden in a small shopping area. The atmosphere is elegant but not overwhelming. The Caesar Salad was good. Nice touch to have the tempura anchovi topping it. The pizza is big enough for two to share

Thank Wolfgang R
