I have tasted one of the best fish and chips and Salmon dish in a beautiful setting and atmosphere. Its kind of hidden place on Jefferson St and never thought will have that quality of food.

There were ten in our group on a Friday evening with no reservation and yet we were treated very nicely and given a table in a very timely manner. The entire staff was pleasant, accommodating and eager to please. We will definitely go there again.

My husband and I have had dinner twice in the last 4 months at Nick Ryan's in downtown Lexington, Kentucky. It's great for couples, and caters for large groups. On both occasions there were at least 2 groups of 10 or more, which can make it crowded and noisy. However, this actually gives it 'buzz' and great atmosphere and we... More

There were 6 of us in our group. 5 of us really liked our meals. One said his Chicken Roulades were too dry. We had 3 appetizers. They were all good, and there was more than enough for sharing. I got the fish and chips. They were really good and enough for lunch the next day, too. I like the... More

Thanks to the chef last night for taking the time to make racist comments to me last night while bringing out your disgusting bourbon chicken bites. I will never be returning. And neither will my Military brothers and sisters. #notwhite #stillAmerican #freedomofspeech #yourewelcome

We were perusing the menu when the chef came over and convinced us to stay so we didn't reach our original destination. The servers need to be trained better. Ours didn't know the soup and couldn't describe a dish we asked about. The worse dish was one of their signature dishes. We were there at an off afternoon time and... More

Nothing to write home about. The menu was promising with unique offerings not found on usual menus, which is why you don't cook at home. However the food was inconsistently seasoned. The French onion soup was super sweet, as if sugar had been added. The fried chicken was super salty, yet the Yukon gold mashed potatoes were under seasoned and... More

Our server was the best thing about our dining experience. Great humor and professionalism. The prime rib Wednesday feature was a disaster...thin, cold and so tough you could barely cut into it. Three of us sent it back and it was taken off the check. Kudos to management for making things right. One of our party had short ribs and... More

This restaurant was much better a year ago. I ordered the braised short ribs which had good reviews previously. It was tasty but the portion was so small I would have been embarrassed to bring it out for $26. My wife got a pulled pork entree that had an off taste and she could not eat. A couple with us...
