Went with group from church & they handled us all with speed & accuracy. Good food - no complaints from anyone. My favorite was the hot slaw! (Cabbage with a hot bacon dressing). YUM!

I've been visiting this place with family and family and friends multiple times. This place is really welcoming, service is great. Their fried chicken is delicious, honestly I haven't tried a better fried chicken yet keep up excellent work!
Enjoyed a Sunday morning stop for breakfast with fresh pecan pancakes! Outstanding!! Service was friendly and timely. Great stop. Great for families AND separate dining room for groups.
My wife and I were visiting our son in Erlanger and before we left today wanted to get something to eat. We stopped at the Colonial Cottage (1st time) and had a wonderful lunch served by a great waiting crew. First, the menu is southern comfort food whether its breakfast, soups, sandwiches, dinners, etc. and they have daily specials to... More
This restaurant has been around forever...and for good reason. It is family friendly, has great food, and the servers treat you like family. This place has a very loyal customer base. They know each one by name and even remember special food concerns. The friend chicken and catfish are DELICIOUS!!!! The cottage serves old time comfort food. Do not pass... More

My husband and I had dinner here last night. We live close by so we have eaten here several times and we have never had bad food or bad service here. Last night my husband had they're World Famous Fried Chicken green beans and their hot slaw. I think they have the best hot slaw in Northern Kentucky. I had... More
It is becoming an annual event for me to travel to northern Kentucky to visit with friends. The trip wouldn't be complete without stopping at the Colonial Cottage for goetta. This German dish can't be found where I live.
