I've eaten here several times for breakfast but only twice for lunch. I wasn't impressed with lunch items/quality of food but breakfast was ok for the price.

A good spot for breakfast or lunch while in Danville. Breakfast has the expected menu items, and many of the locals meet here for their first cup of coffee. A varied buffet is served at lunch with soup to dessert. The buffet entrees vary daily, but the ones I sampled were good, home-cooked chicken and noodles, several vegetables choices and... More

went twice in two weeks, got the same breakfast , each was less than $8.00. It takes awhile to get it when they're busy, but it's worth the wait. Love the biscuits and gravy, nice light color with pepper added, moist biscuits, and terrific homefries (get them with cheese and onions). Interesting atmosphere inside, kinda throwback to the old style restaurant.... More

Trying to find a local restaurant Saturday while on the 127. Didn't want fast food - and were looking for a unique local restaurant. This is a great place. lots of unique items on the walls to look at. Food is home cooked, we got the burgers, and they are not the "premade- frozen" kind either. Was so big, I... More

This is a wonderful restaurant. A truly local stop. They serve up country cooked meals that always taste fresh! There are lots of locals chatting about. The wait staff is always friendly and eager to give you refills! The food is excellent, especially the breakfast. The building itself is adorably decorated. The location is okay though the parking lot can... More

Very, very country in the very best way. Barn like ambience. Basically their thing is the buffet which I think opens at 11 AM. They close at 3 and the first time I went there I got there about 2:30 and they were closing down the buffet but allowed me to pick from what was left. It was delicious. Went... More
