While going to Chandigarh, I tried this restaurant/ Dhaba at Murthal. I was with my relative from USA. The Haveli here is not constructed as Karnal Haveli or Jalandhar Haveli is designed in village format. It appears to be a modern Haveli. The interiors, the sitting plan, the ambiance and the hospitability here is very good compared to other popular restaurants/ dhabas in Murthal. We ordered the Combo having Mix Parantha, Dal, Dahi, Lassi & Butter (special price) and Tea. The food quality was very good and it was served in time. One can have lots of pictures inside and outside. The bonus is Driver tea and snacks are free of cost. A must visit place for Delhites on weekends.

I had an exceptional dining experience at Haweli Murthal ! The ambiance was elegant and intimate, with dim lighting and soft music. Our server, uday kaundal, was attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations.

We started with my 8 year old and his same age friend. Though wanted to try Pehalwan Dhaba but landed at Haveli. Ordered mix Paratha and Chai.
Overall its worth visiting for quality authentic food. Their Kulhad Dahi and Butter is amazing and a must try. Would advise a single plate for two 250 i guess, as Dahi in single plate is sufficient for even 3. Oh, how can I forget their Kaali Daal with Paratha, dont miss it...you wont regret ordering again.
I loved the Tea esp. not often you get very tasty tea. You should order it after food as Dahi is a must try, also raita.
Would definitely recommend for Breakfast or Dinner, as lunch cannot be a heavy intake.
We went to Mera Gaon Mera Desh near Haveli. A must visit for kids who never been to village life....trust me the activities there are amazing for them. They charge 500 for entry for use of property and 2500 per per person/night stay in room with breakfast or one meal i guess.
People from nearby places like Delhi can plan a trip to Murthal starting with amazing breakfast at Dhabas (I would recommend Pehalwan, Bikaner) Haveli is Best and then a day full of activities at Mera Gaon Mera Desh which is 3km from haveli in a village. Route is easy as you can follow indicating arrows on Electric Khanbas. landmark is left turn from transformer gali.

They provide same food in two rates, we reached at 6:00 AM, they said outside counter is close. The reason I tell you is that inside counter gives same food in higher rates. I travel every month and eat food here and this time we left the place without food cause even after discussion with manager their attitude is same.
Now we will never stop here.

We had to wait for half hour for a table.. they refused to serve any snacks stating its only main course time so that will only be served... We had
Dal makhani very diluted 2/10
Pindi chana. Spicy and good 8/10
Shahi paneer. Just cream paneer 2/10
Mojito 5/10
Tandoori roti and missi roti were good 8/10
Gulab jamun very big size very very sweet 5/10
Tea was milky and sweet despite of mentioning strong and less sugar

Yesterday night we visit Haveli around 9pm and the serving staff behavior is so bad
Even he did not tell his name after asking he said Apko Naam ka kya Karna hai aap order batao
Is that kind of service now haveli is giving
Everytime asking for dish he is saying k jaldi order de do ek baar mein de do
Than we call the manager he just said k main samjha donga.
Really disappointed
I am a frequent visitor of haveli but now i am thinking to avoid that place
Because of so unprofessional staff and their rude behavior.
Customers have lot of option in same area but just came boz of taste and if you will not work on your serving staff i regret to say to one will came again.

I have been this to restaurant many times and found that they made themselves suitable for every meal anytime of day. The prices are reasonable and one has options of seating in open or air conditional space. The vibes are great ,amazing place to visit with friends and family .

Food was great
Ambiance is good, however they have switched off the AC in some particular sections might be due to covid hit.
Service was terribly slow and poor. There is no real addressing of the issues highlighted.
However, senior person tried to make up by standing next to us. But poor fellow cannot decrease the waiting time.

Yesterday i was visit in Hawali with my family for dinner. We have 3 person and my 2 year daughter. My family want a photo of our 2 year daughter with elephant and a car. But that location the secquirty guard behav very badly. We request him for a photo for our lovely daughter. But the behaviour is very bad and stand with us and told us that here photo is not allowed so can go inner and can do dinner but not take pics. I can't understand if we are going to dinner with our family that Dhaba secquirty have more power and feel us unconfortable. I told to everyone in my family and relatives that in our whole life never Go that Dhaba. After disturbed we go to Mannat Hawali we feel very comfortable and enjoy evening time and what a tasty food. We proud him that is real Dhaba. Other Hawali special that is very bad. My name is Ravi Dahiya. I am A Assistant Engineer AT DDA project in Delhi. Never go to hawali

Went there with our dog and the rules didn’t permit the access of pets as it’s not pet friendly but the Manager Mr. Pramod was cooperative enough to allow us to sit outside and the server Mr. Harikesh took great initiative by serving us there. Was a memorable experience as our “complete family” had a nice time !
Thanks Mr Pramod and Mr Harikesh.
Food a usual, was up to the mark and would like to visit again .

The worst food served . All food was cold and of no taste. Even wait for 10 minutes everytime for chapati I.e . Tandoori roti.
After dinner no one was there to give saup. Gur or any mouth freshner.
Even bill was provided after 15 min of dinner till time waiting for the. Staff is worse . Food is worse. I will never advice anyone or myself to go there again.

If you are vegetables lover best place to visit once national highway murthal...not crowded place..nice ambience yumm food. cooperative staff..seating outside n inside both available. Clean washrooms available. Ample parking available in front.overall experience was too good

A wonderful place for authentic North Indian Cuisine. Old heritage charms and very good ambiance. Traveler must stop here for a good meal and clean freshen up/bathroom access. Food taste is A1 and prices are also reasonable. A must visit place!
