Dinner here is not to be missed. There were three of us and we had the rabbit pot pie (wonderful), the pork chops (amazing) and the lamb meatloaf (so delicious). A little pricey but worth every penny. And don't forget the spoon bread.

The regular meals offer an exceptionally diverse and satisfying menu. The Sunday Brunch is an ordinary all-you-can-eat brunch buffet, items not labeled (a problem for those with allergies and food non-tolerances) and not regularly "refreshed", some meats seemed pre-cooked and bland, but table service remains exceptionally good. No menu items available at the Sunday Brunch. Regular menu items available at... More

A group of us went to the Valentines Day Murder Mystery Special. It was in the new event center. The atmosphere was good. Everyone loved the play. I had not eaten there in a couple of years and was disappointed with the food. Not the quality I expect from Boone Tavern. My favorite-spoonbread was overcooked. The chicken tasted ok but... More

What a treasure! We had breakfast after our stay and let me assure you it is indeed a hearty breakfast. That's just the portions sizes, but the taste is even more satisfying. We will definitely be returning here. Well trained and caring staff.

Boone Tavern Restaurant is excellent with wonderful service. Quiet, well-spaced tables and a well-rounded menu. We tried the quail appetizer and found it to be wonderful. as was the salmon. One in our party asked to substitute one side for another, and it was not a problem. But the best part is the wonderful spoon bread that is brought to... More

The historic Boone Tavern Restaurant is an amazing place. Set inside the historic Boone Tavern Hotel, it is elegance at it's best. Wonderful food, great service, and thoroughly enjoyable. Their traditional "spoon bread" is a real treat.

We spent a night in the Boone Tavern and took advantage of the January special that allowed breakfast for 2 the next morning and we were not disappointed. It was a dark and dreary day with sleet but our delicious omelets with amazing mushrooms and great home made jams on toast made our day a lot brighter. The young man... More

The setting of the restaurant is inviting HOWEVER our experience was anything but wonderful. Initially the hostess tried to seat us directly in the entrance way although it wasn't busy and we had a reservation. When we asked for a different table she allowed us to sit elsewhere. We were then greeted and received water and soon after the spoon... More

As we traveled through Kentucky this week, we had one of the best meals and dining experiences of a lifetime! We had lunch at the "Boone Tavern Restaurant" in Berea Kentucky, home of Berea College! This place has the southern charm of yesterday! It was absolutely beautiful, the building is pure southern, the furniture is very classy and beautiful and... More

Lovely old hotel with beautiful dining room run by the students from Berea College. The food is outstanding and the service is excellent! They offer menu items that are definitely not the "run of the mill". I had an excellent lamb meatloaf that was out of this world. The complimentary spoonbread comes with every meal and is wonderful! You dine... More
